The Immortals inflicted terrible carnage on my infantry, shooting them down in their hundreds and then repulsing their charges. Luckily, the Sparabara line suffered from multiple Fall Back cohesion tests, leaving the Immortals to be surrounded and ground down in the center.

Hilly terrain somewhat channeled the battlefield. The Assyrians concentrated strongly on their right flank and smashed the Greek left flank. Meanwhile, the Greek center and right rapidly redeployed and managed to hold the center and then destroyed the Assyrian left flank. Good game with a lot of maneuvers.

A tough opponent with difficult army to come to grips with. The Lydian hoplites plodded across the map after swarms of horse archers, somehow managing to catch up with enough of them to hit the 60% mark.

The Lydians managed to somewhat successfully maneuver away from the broken ground that dominated much of the centre of the map. With the fight mostly on open ground the Thracian medium offensive spear struggled to match the Lydians armoured hoplites.
