maybe I'm wrong about the fonts, but UI definitely occupies more space now
We are looking into providing an option to "unscale" the UI for this situation
I can't even choose a unit shown by red arrow - it is hidden behind panel

Also guys, I don't know how you managed to not notice it during testing, but when hovering over stars in unit panel - number of experience points isn't shown anymore. Neither there are any explanations for unit traits when hovering with a mouse pointer over them. Like, a new player won't even be able to know what "fleeting presence" or "light freight" means. Even now, I want to know what "digger" unit trait means - and there's nowhere I can find out.

Hi,

The issue with the bottom layer of the map is on the list to fix, as is the xp tool tip for some XP levels.

I'll have to look at the tooltips for the unit traits

Its possible to change the german Infantry uniform skins in African scenarios yet to a more desert camo ? In Panzer Corps 2 it looks so amazing !
Or its possible to replace the skin textures diectly in an mod subfolder ? That would be realy better and easier for the modding community.

It's not just you. It happened on my system too, and it is a problem for me. What do I do to make the texts larger as they were before? Many thanks for advice. I was using the highest setting. I went to the game menu and reset it to lower settings (and restarted the game) but the text size did not change.

It's a toss-up to me. The font itself is not as clear but the backgrounds seem to be lighter, which offsets somewhat. The font was not great to begin with; not the size, but the contrast. It never was very crisp. Now, the contrast seems to have gone backward but the background is improved.

As anticipated, changing the font (or the frame in which it resides) has altered the amount of text shown in popup messages. Fortunately, they chose this time to introduce a scroll bar; a most welcome addition:

I wish my display were that crisp. As it, the game is now virtually unplayable for me because the text and unit information panels are do hard to see.

Hi,

What resolution do you use? Is it same as your monitor?

Thanks

We knew there was an issue at 1024, but 1366 was okay when I last looked at it.

We'll investigate and try to get an update for this soon.

Thanks

I have the exact same setup and noticed this aswell. A "unscale" option would be nice :)

Staritsa done. I am doing with the default core on 4th difficulty. I found a particular lack of infantry and artillery with the default core so priority was given to buy infantry and artillery. It feels like especially in the beginning I had to be careful with RP. This was a straight advance to take the objectives in front. The objectives on the edge fell first, the center held longer but fell once my forces from the sides aided the attack. I defeated the enemy airforce with help from my anti air units but I was unable to complete the secondary objective to destroy the tanks in time.

Same for me during the beta. Generally, I arrived to destroy 2/3 tanks in 5 turns. I found the number of turns for planes largely sufficient but too fair for tanks that tend to flee. The planes contrary to the tanks did not tend to flee.

Alright, I chased the Wehrmacht off towards Rhzev, too.
And I got those tanks taken out as well, yeah. Soviet steamroller for the win.

I'll post my deployment below. Note that I use a Red Steel core and so I have the heavy mortars at my disposal. To get those 3 vehicles before turn 5 is over, focus your fire (tac bombers, AT, tanks) on those easy targets like AA, mobile arty and light tanks like the Panzer I and II. And be careful not to overlook the hidden AT bebro likes to put in all his missions.
