Attacker stakes: Africa and Mauretania.
Defender stakes: Italia and Gallia.
Attack declaration 2:
kronenblatt attacks pompeytheflatulent in Tarraconensis.
Attacker stakes: Lusitania et Baetica.
Defender stakes: Tarraconensis.
All or nothing (but the cowardly way, splitting bet up in two...).

How's this suppose to work? Do you want one game to be made as 'Remove the Head' and one game as 'Open Battle' ?kronenblatt wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 6:39 pm Attack declaration 1:

Also, Parthians raid Syria again! See the first time they were just casing the place and robbing it a little bit.

Don't know yet. But both battles as Remove the Head, of course. If you're fine with the lack of reality, we can run both battles simultaneously. And if one C-in-C is killed in either battle will end both battles immediately.pompeytheflatulent wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:09 pmHow's this suppose to work? Or if you prefer, we can do one battle first, and then the other if still applicable.

So you do a Foreign Invasion of Parthians upon Syria et Arabia as your only attack declaration?pompeytheflatulent wrote: ↑Also, Parthians raid Syria again! See the first time they were just casing the place and robbing it a little bit.

I don't care, I give up. My brain hurts trying to imagine how this would work plausibly with the pace of traveling in the ancient world. I'll make both games simultaneously. The one were I'll have Germanic allies will be the one set in Spain.kronenblatt wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:44 pmDon't know yet. But both battles as Remove the Head, of course. Excellent! And don't worry: we'll make a good and plausible story out of it all after the battles; a story that historians could have bought into.pompeytheflatulent wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 9:02 pmI don't care, I give up. Okay, then it's XLegione's turn. And then we're all off to the battlefields.XLegione wrote:

But you only need (and actually only can make) one attack declaration, but in that sole attack declaration you'll get Warg1 to stake all his remaining three provinces in one attack declaration (since he controls six provinces), that is:
Attack declaration:
XLegione attacks Warg1 in II/III/VII.
Attacker stakes: Dacia et Moesia (VI).
Defender stakes: Dalmatia (II), Pannonia (III), and Graecia et Thracia (VII).
So remaining question to you is which II/III/VII of these three provinces of Warg1's do you want to make your attack into (since that is is where the battle wil stand and thus it will determine the possible map types for the battle from which Warg1 as defender can choose)?
(From third post of this thread.)
Dalmatia (II)
map types: Mediterranean Mountains, Mediterranean Hilly
Pannonia (III)
map types: North European Wooded, North European Hilly
Graecia et Thracia (VII)
map types: Mediterranean Agricultural, Mediterranean Hilly, Mediterranean Wooded, Mediterranean Mountains

Sorry for the mistake, this is the attack declaration:

Defender stakes: Dalmatia (II), Pannonia (III), and Graecia et Thracia (VII).

No probs: the rules are not always straightforward.
Great! Then we're on to the battle resolutions!

TYME I: Battle resolutions - round 3
Civil war battles
1. Tomoegozen attacks Warg1 in Syria et Arabia.
2. kronenblatt attacks pompeytheflatulent in Italia.
3. kronenblatt attacks pompeytheflatulent in Tarraconensis.
4. XLegione attacks Warg1 in Dalmatia.
Foreign invasion battle
5. Parthians upon Warg1 in Syria et Arabia by pompeytheflatulent.
Players in bold set up challenges.
Since we were so damn fast in our attack declarations (good job!), battles are resolved simultaneously during a three-week period of Nov. 1 - Nov. 21 (see Battles in the rules).
Once a battle is concluded, the defender reports its result in this thread.
Enjoy! (Don't want to create any drama here, but I believe we'll have 1-2 fewer contenders left for the purple once the battle dust has settled.... Who....!?!?)

Re: TYME I: Battle resolutions - round 3
pompeytheflatulent and I have agreed upon the outcome of the one battle in Italia (2. kronenblatt attacks pompeytheflatulent in Italia) determining the outcome also of the other battle (3. kronenblatt attacks pompeytheflatulent in Tarraconensis.) Thus, only one battle will be fought, the one in Italia.

And with that loss of 42 to something, kronenblatt loses his three provinces to pompeyflatulent (congrats to great play!) and is eliminated in the game of the purple, rendering the following political situation in the Roman world:

Cracking game and Augustus Warg is lucky to be with us still today after being routed and pursued by cavalry for a bit. The RNG were kind this time. Thanks for a great game Tomoegozen

Alas , I have been thwarted in my (rightful) ambitions but rest assured some unknown bastard son of mine will wander out of the desert to seek revenge some time in the future
Thanks to Warg for a great game and to kronenblatt for organising the campaign, it's been fun.

Re: TYME I: The Year of Many Emperors - Tournament I
Through Warg1's victory over TomoeGozen in Syria et Arabia, Warg1 takes control over Cyrenaica and Aegyptus and TomoeGozen joins the group of eliminated usurpers, leaving the Roman world as follows:
Many thanks for participating, TomoeGozen: glad you enjoyed TYME and hope you come back for more!
Outstanding this round is now only the battle between Warg1 and XLegione.
