Wargaming Tactical Studies - Raseiniai 1v1
This multiplayer battle was played before the East Front Tournament. I played this scenario for the first time.
It was me vs Pinkelephantis, one of the best players.

Interesting summary of the map!
I don't know if you've already recorded subsequent sections, but the game now lets you turn off Fog Of War in replays if you want to see all the forces.
I like PinkElephantis' early cavalry tanks, but I'd have tried to outflank your core group in area 3 once i'd spotted the StuG!

I tried to watch the replay with Fog of War turned off but around turn 5-6 the replay gets broken.Shards wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:32 pmInteresting summary of the map!

Would you mind sharing the replay so we can try to find the bug?LynxCom wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:32 pmI tried to watch the replay with Fog of War turned off but around turn 5-6 the replay gets broken.Shards wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:32 pmInteresting summary of the map!

Re: Wargaming Tactical Studies - Raseiniai 1v1
First of all, again, thanks for this, LynxCom!
Like the #oribitalcommand cheat that also removes FOW for the AI? Is it possible for the AI to choose different targets inside of a replay, Shards?

Thanks!
Did it matter if the FOW was turned on or off for the replay to break?

Are you saying that the OoB replay system's going to be looked upon and fixed finally? Like... really?

Thanks!

Yes. With Fog of War ("original" one) - it is ok, without fog of war - broken.
Maybe It is because the replay was saved before the last patch.

My guess is that it's something to do with ambushes or movement that is limited by moving through hexes.
Gathering evidence for now

Re: Wargaming Tactical Studies - Raseiniai 1v1

Yeah, you're right probably.
Well, OoB's MP model's just not the way I like to play computer games. I've tried it and maybe will again, but having to wait for an indefinite period of time for the opponent to react is just not my cup of tea.
But I'm really curious about the continuation of the battle. I know it's super annoying to go against German armour, StuGs and StuKas in that period of time. The Soviets had nothing to go against it but seemingly endless waves of weak reinforcements...

PS: If you're into StarWars I strongly recommend watching "The Mandalorian"...
