Starting the end of this week, we will be releasing another batch of games on Steam. Commander: The Great War, Frontline: Road to Moscow and Advanced Tactics: Gold will soon be available on this digital store, thereby further expanding our Steam catalog.  

Kicking off this Friday will be Commander: The Great War. This intuitive and clever World War One strategy title has already proven itself on PC and is now ready to reach a wider audience through Steam! Commander: The Great War features a Grand Campaign covering the whole war from the invasion of Belgium on August 5, 1914 to the Armistice on the 11th of November 1918 in addition to 16 different unit types including Infantry, Cavalry, Armoured Cars and Tanks, Artillery, Railroad Guns and Armoured Trains and much more.

On the 9th of August, Frontline: Road to Moscow will hit Steam. This lighter wargame offers a huge amount of content and has proven immensely popular on tablets. Now all its goodness will be available for PC owners as well! In Frontline: Road to Moscow, players are confronted with blitzkriegs, trench wars and dog fights, but also unusual situation such as missions to capture an armoured convoy, recover important documents, capturing strategic positions and destroy fortifications.

Next, on August 16th, Advanced Tactics: Gold is coming to steam. Advanced Tactics: Gold is a unique game that combines the deep gameplay experience of more traditional wargames, with an open setting, allowing you to recreate and simulate a ton of different battles and engagements. As a result, Advanced Tactics: Gold offers a unique and infinitely replayable wargaming experience for any strategy fan!

WarPlan Dev Diary #1 - Introduction

This story starts out when a 15 year old kid was introduced to the game Rise and Decline of the Third Reichfrom Avalon Hill back in 1982. A friend taught me the game in a learn the rules and watch me exploit your lack of knowledge method. He would pull out convenient rules when it suited him and didn’t tell me rules that helped me. He thoroughly kicked my ass by 1942 as the Axis as I had little clue as to what I was doing. For most people this would only encourage them never to play the game again. Instead I became fascinated.

Since then I have played just about every game that has involved WW2 on a grand strategy scale. If I didn’t play it I at least read the rules of the game to understand the system.
