Re: no steam key?

I too am experiencing the same problem. I purchased the base game and the first DLC in Oct and Dec through Sliterine. I was given the Steam keys and was successful in installing both on my steam account. Yesterday I bought the 2nd DLC through Sliterine and when I looked up the Steam key for 2nd DLC ...

Combining solitary and online play

An idea to promote both off line and online play would be to select an epic battle that you would practice playing both sides on your home computer After achieving a level of skill you would go online and play the epic battle (both sides) and be given a score on a leader board After a set period a m...

Re: Sandbox Campaign suggestions

A sand box campaign based on supply and leadership In ancient times as well throughout history victory in a campaign was based on maintaining supply and keeping the leadership alive besides killing the enemy. If each side starts with 4,000 points in the first battle they deploy 1,600 points When the...

Increase the Replay Value of Historical Battles

This could be done by setting up a rating system where one would play both sides of battle and be given a rating based on point total or formula and a title (Imperator to Soon to be Executed!) Back in 1990's a company called QQP developed a series of games (Perfect General 1,2 Lost Admiral etc) whic...

Re: Sandbox Campaign suggestions

An alternate sandbox campaign suggestion would be set at the beginning a point total representing the manpower that could be recruited for the overall campaign for each side. You would be restricted to a choice within a range of points for each battle. Between battles losses would be replaced from t...

Learning How To Use the Editor

Although the printed directions appear to contain everything one needs to know what one can do in the editor and the various key or mouse clicks needed, there is, for me confusion. The following needs to added a single page of command summaries for the editor that I would have in my hand while in th...

Re: FoG(U) Update #34

I have on my hard drive the original Unity download in July 2016. It is essentially a disaster of nearly nonworking program. After 15 months you appear to have achieved level of beta (nearly working program) and hopefully a working editor. The question I have now is how to download the beta to work ...

The Need For A Working Unity Editor

Computer games come and go on my hard drive, but FOG-1 will live forever -maybe. This is due to the editor which allowed users to create a huge number of add on scenarios which have extended the life and my enjoyment of the game. The unity version FOG-1does not have a working editor although a “stic...

Composition of the new army lists

In the old game the number of army list in time period covered (up to 25 BC found in Rise of Rome and Immortal Fire ) is over a hundred.
The new version has 20+ less lists. Why the decline? Can you create and add customized army lists to the new game

What is included in the Editor

In the editor will you be able to build maps with defensive positions such as a Roman marching camps, forts, small and large cities?
How about the inclusion of naval units for sea battles and invasions.

New solutions for old problems

Back in April 2010 I complained about computer AI setup and the inability to create unequal forces "A quick solution to the deployment problem would be to allow the player to switch sides in order to do AI setup. Also allowing a save would allow for the game with particular armies and forces to...

DLC's in Field of Glory

I recently purchased 3 additional DLC for Field of Glory I have previously installed on my computer the old version of Field of Glory (1.81) and the new version (2.5.02) I was under the impression that all DLC except the last two would work in the old version, and all the DLC’s would work in the new...
