Update 1.01

Hi

Just noticed the automatic updater for España 1936 has just updated the game to version 1.01 - is there a manual download link for this update anywhere?

No essential, but I like to keep archives of all my game updates just in case they become unavailable online one day!

Re: Redeeming a Steam Key

Hi Is the Mac version of Battle Academy available on Steam yet? I own PC and Mac (and iPad!) versions of BA. I have generated a Steam key from http://www.slitherine.com/my_page/steam_serials and activated it on Steam OK. However, when I try to install from Steam onto my Mac I get the error "Steam Ga...

Re: Question: Do you follow us on Twitter etc?

Yep, I follow you @Pip_Slitherine and @Iain_Slitherine on Twitter. Probably take more notice of stuff on there than I do in email newsletters.

Can't recall having come across you/Slitherine on Facebook though.

Re: Game save location (Single player)

All done and synced using instructions on http://dotmonster.co/backup-and-sync-folders-with-dropbox-and-symbolic-links/ . Wish I'd realised my whole My Games\BBCBA was about 1Gb though - took a while and ruined my son's XBox360 ping responses for the whole evening :) Possibly I should just have done...

Game save location (Single player)

Hi Is there any way to change the location that BA uses to save its Campaign games? By default (on Windows 7) this is in the user's Documents\My Games\BBCBA folder. What I'd like to do is change this so that BA saves all its data to a folder in my Dropbox folder so that my games are synchronised bet...

Re: Serial for Mac and PC?

I'd be interested in that cross-platform option for several of your games! At present I have Battle Academy on both platforms, FoG and (recently) UoC only on one - can't justify the full outlay for all games on two OS, but if cost was reduced for a second platform purchase I'd jump at it!

Unity of Command and OS X Mountain Lion

Just purchased and downloaded UoC for Mac to run on Mountain Lion. Couple of issues that I think people should be aware of 1. Mountain Lion's new security, Gatekeeper, does not recognise UoC as being from an identified developer so will not let it run by default. Need to CTRL-click the app to launch...

Re: Unity of Command Update Now Available

So, if I buy the Mac game now which version do I get?

Going to try the game - trying to decide whether to go Mac or PC - would love more games for my MacBook, but not if they're not as promptly supported as the PC versions!

Very impressed...it's the first iPad app I've taken the time to review and rate, so that should tell you something! Excellent work!

Multiplayer on Mac and PC

Hi I've had BA for the PC since it was released, and both expansions :) I've just also bought the Mac version to play on a MacBook. Obviously I got a new serial number with the Mac version. Now, when I try and log onto Multiplayer on the MacBook using the username/password I've always used on the PC...

Interesting - got to admit I know very little about the Suez Crisis from the military point of view, didn't know airborne troops were involved at all, and certainly had never heard of 'Operation Musketeer'. And from that article it seems that they were essentially using WWII equipment... Going to ha...
