Re: MP game reliable opponents wanted!!
We have a small group (four) of MP players and no one quits or misses turns. It is a friendly game. If you are interested in joining I will let you know when we are ready to start a new game.

Well. It is the hexes you show with green markings! Thank you That shows that you have to use symbols with care. It´s difficult to guess that an arrow pointing left, means that it is the hex below. I agree with you, the arrow should be pointed inside the rectangle : Exit.jpg ...or no arrow at all.

Re: How to use knights
I can say generally that do not be afraid to charge the enemy if you have good impact odds, even if you fall back afterward. I've been doing that against the English with Norman knights in the Battle of Hastings and every once in a while you disrupt the select fyrd with little hurt to yourself.

Re: Alan Fergant
This is a very interesting battle, that I have fought many times with many miniatures and board war game rule sets. So far, so good in a MP game as the Normans.
Some games show Bishop Odo commanding the Norman left flank.

Alan Fergant
In the Epic Battle of Hastings, 1066, the Norman left is commanded by Alan Fergant. He was later to become the Duke of Brittany, but in 1066 he was just 3 years-old. The Norman left was possibly commanded by Alan the Red, or Alan Rufus, a Breton nobleman.

Re: Different skins
It is too bad that the excellent skins are lost during multi-player games.

Re: Operation Compass British Tanks
Perhaps it is because they only had a 3-man crew. They didn't have a loader until the Valentine Mk.III.

Operation Compass British Tanks
The British have three tanks available for the Operation Compass scenario: Cruiser Mk.IV (A13), Valentine Mk.I, and Matilida Mk.II. All three have the same QF 2-pounder (4o mm) gun, yet their anti-mechanized attack values are different. The A13 is 9-11, the Valentine is 4, and the Matilda 8-10. Why ...

Britannia Board Game as a 4-Player Campaign System
With the release of FOG2M, you now have all of the armies required to play the old board war game Britannia as a campaign game, while using FOG2 or FOG2M to fight the battles. The board game is a lot of fun for four players. I'll have to figure out how to approximate the Britannia special rules for ...

Re: Are Tool Tips Enough to Play
I started reading the manual. I had forgotten how interesting the historical essays, and the play notes are. Read the manual, even if just for this.

British Kingdom of Strathclyde Army List?
The Scots 1040-1051 AD army list mentions the British Kingdom of Strathclyde, which they eventually conquered sometime between 1019-1053 AD. I can't find a dedicated army list for them. Will this be introduced in a future DLC? The FOG2 army list would be British 600-1030 AD. When I create a custom b...

So the Germans, at least, get War Wagons. That is interesting.
I'll print off the POA tables for easy reference.
I have a couple of MP friends raring to go.

Re: What next
The next linked DLC is U.S. Pacific. There are only two reasons to choose this as your next DLC: your "core" units can carry forward into the next campaign, or you want to play the Pacific War as the U.S. Otherwise look at the other campaigns and choose the one that appeals to you the most. There is...

Re: Throw MP Players a Bone
Since the first scenario of every campaign is available for free to everyone who owns at least one DLC, perhaps that would make a good choice for a Community Crate MP scenario. I believe the CC is unavailable until you own at least one DLC as well.
