Re: Warning: PBEM glitch - If you have sent out a PBEM invitation recently, it might have been cancelled

Is there a new PBEM login issue or something related to this from the 8th? I played a PBEM turn early this AM (6:30-ish AM ET USA), recently received notice I have a turn waiting, but when I click on the Multiplayer button on the main screen, I get a message that the server can't authenticate me ......

Anyone else having issues uploading PBEM turms?

I'm playing separate games with two friends. We're all having issues where both the Save Game and the Submit Turn's both often (bot *NOT* always) fail to upload multiple times, but eventually go through. In one game, it's annoying but not terrible because the Submit Turn button remains and I can jus...

Re: is PBEM turn notification broken or down?

Yep, my friends and I are still having this problem. And I've never heard back from my email to Tech Support.

is PBEM turn notification broken or down?

I'm playing two PBEM scenario's with two separate friends and we've all noticed that we're not receiving emails that turns are waiting for us, yet if we get curious and log into check ... there the turns are. Is the email system down/broken? I don't see any other comments in the Forums. thank you, p...

Yes, there are plans for this. Hopefully it will be included at launch, but if not, it won't be long after until it's ready and included.

Cheers, Paul

Re: Time of turns in multiplayer

The multiplayer server(s) my games have been going through appear to be on the US West Coast. I'm in New England and just uploaded a turn at 5:06pm, or 17:06. Looking at the turn waiting for my friend, it shows a time of 14:06 or three hours behind me ... equivalent to the difference between the US ...

Multiplayer Server slowdowns?

Is there any sort of dashboard or status page anywhere that would show whether there's a known issue with the multiplayer servers? My friends and I are seeing tremendous (multi minute) slowdowns in connecting to the multiplayer server(s) and just as long for games to show up in the lists. And, start...

Three crashes during Leyte

I had three crashes while playing Leyte this afternoon. The attached archive contains all three crash folders, options.dat, the last output_log.txt, dxdiag.txt and the last savegame files (I can't recall whether the last crash was before or after they were created). Each time it crashed, I was able ...

Re: Erik's Cooperative Scenarios

Erik, A friend and I, recent OOB:P addicts, just downloaded your coop vs AI Showdown in the Pacific (1024) scenarios. the text files indicated version 1.2. We've started with us playing the Japanese navy vs the AI Allies. We've noticed a few things ... None of the ports are named. Taking a port chan...

Giving a game as a gift

I want to buy four licenses of Order of Battle: Pacific, one for myself and three for three (what a surprise  ) friends. I know that's easy on Steam, but one of my friends refuses to install Steam. I see that I could buy gift cards in the Slitherine store, but would prefer to simply buy the ga...

Re: Thank you for the co-op!!!

Pip, As Lylranor asked, are there *any* other games that offer a co-op option similar to that of BA2? My friends and I have been playing computer games since the first Atari 400/800 PCs and the BA/BA2 PBEM++ is the absolute best turn based multiplayer game option we've ever found and the co-op of BA...

Thank you. That's what I expected, but I had to ask.

We've been friends since the late 1980s and I never imagined he'd be so paranoid. <sigh>

Gift of BA2 via Steam ... friend refuses to install Steam?

I bought BA2 gifts through for two friends. One already had Steam installed and we've been playing without issue. My other friend refuses to install Steam for no reason that I can understand (he doesn't want Steam to be able to see what's on his PC???). Is there any way to for him to DL the s/w from...

Re: BA2 Crashing Windows 10

When you run in a windowed mode with the same resolution as your screen then you do indeed get pretty much the same experience as with fullscreen, but the driver paths for fullscreen and windowed are very different. ..." I had no idea about that and it certainly helps explain why the game hasn't cr...
