Creating my own army list
Hello, I am trying to recreate the Peasant Rebellion war in Central Europe in 1520 (Germany or Hungary) and wanted to ask the community on:
1. how to create my own army list? a link will suffice
2. or is there an army list I could download that would be peasant heavy?
Thank you very much!

Re: Hungarian army
Ladislav, you should sign up for the Italian wars campaign, there are no Hungarians, but there are Austrians from before they became the Austro-Hungarian empire. We need players with enthusiasm like yourself, Andre Thank you Andre for the invitation, but I am afraid I dont have the time now to dedi...

Re: Hungarian army
So when building armies, get all the cannons and infantry you can get. This will help you to besiege provinces quicker (do cannons make a difference?). They certainly do. Richard, I do want to say that you have created an amazing little game that has so much to offer! I've been playing it for almos...

Re: Hungarian army
Hello, I managed to win the first campaign as the Hungarians against the Ottomans on mid-difficulty. I thought I would share my insights for those inclined to play as the decaying Jagiellon against the antecedent Ottoman empire. The battle array from the previous posts still holds with minor variati...

Re: Pike & Shot makeover
The genius of P&S:C is that is uses the period artwork as basis for representation of units on the map. This is why I am so happy with the product.

Re: Campaign
Thanks - I will give the campaign a go.
Ok - one quick question. I would like to change the default flag of the fraction in the campaign in question, where would I go. Its currently the HRE, but I would like to swap it for Bohemia-Hungary.
Thanks!

Campaign
Hello, I am new to modding but I would like to create a campaign between Hungary and Ottoman Empire that would take place on the map used for the Great Turkish War (Balkans). I tried copying the latter, but was then prompted to create a scenario. Can you please advise on how I should go about it? Ob...

Re: Complete army list
First of all, thank you very much Pixel. Yes, I was after the full 154 list so I could better contemplate various campaigns based on the available rosters. And I couldn't find a single place with the full list.

Pike and Shot in forest
Hello, could someone here break down for me the cumulative effect of a pike and shot unit in forest? They become slightly disordered, but gain benefits from cover. Would you take advantage of the cover for the lower order? Thanks!

Re: Military History for Pike & Shot Period ?
I fully recommend a great book that covers all of history, but goes into extensive detail about the Pike and Shot era, from a very strategic angle. A great read and a lot to contemplate and even lessons to be utilized in the game itself! You can get it dirt cheap too (as little as $8). I personally ...

Re: Saving MP Game Replays
It would be nice to be able to review the entire battle. Or alternatively, to be able to at least scroll across the battlefield after the final turn and victory pop-up.

Re: English Parliament vs New Model Army
Interesting. I couldn't never figure out how illustrations of the NMA looked any different from standard units of the period. I suppose there wasn't any. Thanks for the clarification!
Does that mean Michael's comment holds true for the game? The only difference being army composition?

Re: English Parliament vs New Model Army
Thanks for the response. Would the devs like to weigh in on this too? After all, the qualitative difference of the New Model Army was always touted in histories, when compared to older parliamentary units. Or is this somehow modeled in the game?

English Parliament vs New Model Army
Hello, I am well aware of the historical differences, but I wonder whether in-game there is any difference between E.Parliament and New Model Army? I mean beside the units available, which I am not sure there is a big difference. Im currently playing as the Scots Royalists vs New Model Army, trying ...

Re: Cavalry falling back after winning the fight
Ahh, playing Hungarians v Ottomans is my specialty too. I never charged frontally against Jans., unless they were disturbed, ideally fragmented. I find the breaking off actually really useful, because it allows your cav to charge anew. Anyway, Im curious about the battle - could you write a little m...

Re: Eastern Europe armies.
Do these move during the battle? Or only when not fighting? If the latter then it can be simulated with earthworks. By the way, similar in tactics with Ming Chinese who had to contend with steppe horse armies too. http://greatmingmilitary.blogspot.sg/2017/02/qi-ji-guangs-che-ying-p1.html?m=1 Based ...
