This would be the historical use. However, in FoG2 it´s a bit difficult to pull off a Cannae, because 1. Cavalry is not that fast. 2. One problem though in my view arises from that they very often rally (due to breaking early with many men left), back to fragmented and then disrupted far away on the map, which I don't view as particularly realistic since it's a unit so highly dependent on its formation so what are the chances of ...

I did have a potential issue show up in this second game vs Chris. I had a Triarii unit facing an enemy infantry unit with an enemy cavalry unit in its rear. The game would not allow me to turn the Triarii unit such that it only exposed a flank to the cavalry unit saying that it could only do that ...

Hi all, Trying to host the game challenge, but I'm seeing two army lists for Pyrrhic 280-275, and 274-272, but the post is saying Pyrrhic 280-272. Which one is it?^^ yes it is the one that starts in 280. Sorry about that, I must have copied that date over from before there were two Pyrrhic lists.

Good to hear some people are enjoying the mod! There is only one match still outstanding in the 2nd round, but at this point I have just sent for their scores so far to be reported so we can continue with the tournament and start the 3rd round before people get too busy with the next FOG2DL season. ...

Lots of closer matches in this tournament compared to the Digital League. :D yes looking at the results it does seem like there have been some good, competitive games :) One concern of mine is that it seems the infantry lines are still not lasting long enough for the cavalry to get around. I wonder...
