Re: Win10? Honestly?

My exitement turned into disapointment when I read on the Steam page about the minimum requirements for this game. Win10? Only over my dead body! What platform would you consider "acceptable"? Windows is the main PC platform, and since the support for Windows 7 ends with the end of this y...

Re: Win10? Honestly?

Having high system requirements is not an indicator for a game being awsome. You are damn right!!!! Really hope the devs are successful in optimizing the game; I'll keep my fingers crossed. The reqs is the least of my worries. I am still waiting for the next KING of fantasy strategy turned-based ga...

I’ll take your word for it and give it a try. I hope the editor will be added soon as an update?
🙏 thanks

Re: Several questions about the game

Ok, let me state this differently. Say I generated a procedurally random scenario in the game, but I did not like some of the terrain or the way some of the armies were placed, or artifacts etc. and I want to make same changes. Can I go back open the same map and make the changes I want? Thanks

Re: Fantasy General II is out!

Thanks for the quick reply. What I am trying to say, is that when you want to play for example on a large map, it is more expedient to randomly generate a large map with the predetermined settings (type of land, terrain type, amount of rivers/mountains etc,) then save that map so you can make subtle...

Re: Fantasy General II is out!

I am very disappointed that at this stage you cannot edit the random map that you generate before you play it against the AI. It saves so much more time. I was going to buy this game until I found this out. I hope the dev team will add this in the near future. HOMM III & AOW SHADOW MAGIC had this fe...

Re: Several questions about the game

Do you have any future plans to add random map generation in the editor so the player can edit/modify it before playing against the AI? Thanks

“There is just some more polishing work to do to make the interface pretty so we can release it for you.”

How soon will that happen - to generate random map and then edit it to play against the AI- Do we have to wait till the next expansion or before that????

Can a random skirmish map be loaded and edited for scenario?

I hope the design team didn’t just include a random map generator... it is so much more efficient to generate a random map in the editor, save it, and then make the necessary changes you want so you can play against the AI. I understand it takes more programming work, but it it is definitely worth i...

Re: Several questions about the game

“you can also create your own maps procedurally“

Can you elaborate on that further please? Will it be possible to create a random map, save it, and then load it in the editor to assign sides/armies etc., so you can play against the AI? 🙏

Can you generate a random map and then edit that map with custom sides and units to play on it? Thanks

If I upgrade to a physical copy, will I get a hard copy manual, and is it going to be in color or black&white? Thanks

Re: Aggressors: Ancient Rome is announced!

This is so exciting! I hope you guys take your time and don't rush it out the door too fast... A lot of us are waiting for something like this for a long time. Too many developers are rushing products too fast with limited replay value and bad manuals. It looks like you are on the right track. I ca...

Can you combine armies? For example infantry and Cavalry into a combined force. How about generals? Can you assign a general to an army?

It looks like it. However I think it will be a better game overall in terms of replay value (Random Map Generator and Editor).

Re: Aggressors: Ancient Rome is announced!

It will be the only one in a long time (Turn-based, Ancient times, Random Map generator) to appear with these features and it will be an instant hit if done properly. One question. Will the Random map generator have a feature to generate a random map and then edit it to make your own scenario? Hi A...

I think what this game needs the most is to release a DLC that contains a Battle Generator/Random Map Editor to add more replay value.

Re: editing scenarios in the game for skirmish against the A

I am planning to buy Da Orks and I am wondering if I can open and edit any of the game single player scenario maps (add/delete units) and replay it as a skirmish mode against the AI. Is that possible? or the editor has changed somewhat? ( I have posted this before but I got no reply). Hello. As far...
