Re: Will there be an Order of Battle 2

Overall, near future plans are still about DLCs for OOB (1). What happens later is something that has yet to be determined.

Re: Panzer Corps 2 Has Dynamic AI - Allegedly

If I'm not mistaken PzC1 also has dynamic/unscripted AI. Make up a quick random scenario with two opposing sides, without any scripting whatsoever, and the AI will make moves. Of course for more elaborate scenarios scripting is also available. IIRC units in PzC 1 have a certain stance set in the ed...

Re: OOB & Panzer Corps 1 - Strikingly Similar

Does OOB have any of the PC1 devs or designers? To answer that Lukas who thought out OOB was part of the PzC 1 team to my knowledge. As for the games as such, they are both part of the same genre, so surely there are similarities. But then there are key diffs, which other posters already listed. I ...

Re: Order of Battle: World War II - v8.3.0 Update

FW 190 F and G don't appear before 1943, so no impact on Red Star. I may roll back this change as there seems to be some prob with air-air attacks in tac class, and unless it's a quick thing to iron out I rather change this back. As for the complaints about air opposition in ES - ppl who want to use...

Re: Order of Battle: World War II - v8.3.0 Update

The F and G version have changed to attack aircraft because that is what they were used for. This change was requested here from various players.

The 190 A (like the later D) is still in the fighter class, which is correct.

Re: Sandstorm - Tobruk: Can't go on fighting after accomplishing primary objectives

Wasn't involved much in doing Afrika content myself, but standard is that a scenario ends when all primary objectives are done, regardless of secondaries achieved (or not) at this point. It can be avoided if the designer does script it otherwise. The message seems to be more a hint that in this batt...

There's also a 7.5cm Pak97/38, which is used after 41 only, but this is not identical with the earlier 5cm.

Re: : 8.3 current update

Do you need Pz I tanks? Would be no prob to make it available in next version, IIRC earlier it was thought that nobody ever buys it as core... :)

Just curious, which 1940er scn has 1941er infantry?

Would have to check it, there might be a design reason behind it.

Re: "Dialog Popup" Question

You define three trigger for this - the one in your pic having the popup question is one. Then have two more as yes/no choices being inactive at start - they get activated when you make the actual choice in the game. These are needed to actually have something happening when selecting yes or no. So ...

Re: Unit Information panel questions

Well, you can actually bring back killed units.

When you lost for example one infantry and want to buy another the game asks you if you want to revive the destroyed one. A reformed unit costs the same as a new of the same type, but keeps a bit of XP of the lost one.

That's intentional, they are added with Red Steel, which is not part of this patch.
