Re: Erik's campaigns

Unnskyld , Erik... I don't wish to seem ungrateful for all of your dedicated, uncompensated work... I've just had a fair few incidents where I've banged my head against a wall in some of your mods but didn't feel qualified to criticise because I wasn't sure if it was just me being unskilled and I d...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Hmmm, gunny. A bit too harsh with your comments, I'd say. Erik depends on the community for feedback. I try to provide it to him by sweeping for bugs in the editors but just as important, if not more so, are comments from people who play his scenarios and campaigns. He needs their detailed feedback...

Re: Erik's campaigns

I need to check each and every scenario (and there are quite a lot) before publishing a new version. Whenever I get to this stage it would be nice to have a dedicated tester  Well, when you get to that point, I'm willing to give it a go. I can't promise a great deal of skill at the game or a ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Erik, could I be of any use in helping work on Sea Lion? When I asked you to repost it a few weeks ago, you said that you had pulled it due to it needing a proper going over. I'm very much a dilettante at this game, but I wanted to offer to make myself useful. If it needs to be done by someone more ...

Re: Using Artillery and Subs

Thank you for the replies. While indirect attack units in, say, AW just do HP damage, I assumed that artillery in this game had to attack some kind of "org" stat that wasn't the exact same thing as health, I just wasn't sure what to look for. As for subs, I am disappointed both in that nobody seems ...

Using Artillery and Subs

So, my question is in the title... how are artillery and subs best used in this game? I dabble in a lot of turn-based tactics games such as Advance Wars, Panzer General Forever, Panzer Corps, OoB, Panzer Strategy and Strategic Mind Pacific, and every one has different rules of course, but the one va...

Re: Erik's campaigns

The CSI Sweep of the US Navy Campaign 1941-1946 is complete. Let me know if/when you want another sweep and which campaign that would be. Hooray! This is very exciting - I hope that he posts the revised campaign soon. As for another campaign, what about Sea Lion? I asked about it just a few days ag...

Re: Erik's campaigns

I know that the German Grand Campaign was broken up into several smaller campaigns, but is the Sea Lion campaign still available Erik? I'm very fond of naval-focused missions.
