Re: Toss of a Coin for Wins

what about a " to the death " general combat. Set up match in sandbox.

More true to the age.

1 unit the same each, say lancer plus general (or HCh in biblical, etc). No terrain.

Charge each other and let the gods decide.

to the victor the spoils!

Re: Light Chariots

Try the Ancient British Panzer divisions against the Romans, if you can strip away their cavalry support you can run rings round them with the light chariots combined with max slingers/LC.

Huscarl armoured axe

Just a thought. So, as I read it, if I have an Huscarl ,armoured, axe against say Norman, armoured, offensive spears. Both superior so ignore that. So impact both would have the same POA and melee the axe 10 POA more. Both armoured, so no one advantaged/disadvantaged POA in armour. If I took, if the...

single player vs AI

Would it be possible for you to chose and select the composition of your opposition army , deploy it in its best position given the terrain and then let the AI take over the running of the opposition army for the rest of the game? often the AI army composition and deployment can let the game down an...

Camels

Had a bit of fun fighting with Arabs and camels recently. I'm sure many others in the recent Assyrian tournament will also have had exposure of them as well. However, I was wondering as, the "ships of the Desert" ,if any thought had been given to camels in Rough terrain. As a "steady platform" could...

Re: Biblical: winners post your results here . . .

Division B garymann Arabs defeated Challenge1 Lydians 41-12 Closer and more tense then the score suggests. Ended up with slugfest on arab infantry left on a RGO hill and camels vs hoplites centre! Iain played a stubborn and skillful defense on the hill, finally overcome by the pressure. Thanks for t...

Screenshots

I appear to have lost the ability to take screenshots since the latest update? When I press the F2 button, the screenshot flash and shutter noise happens, yet nothing is being saved in the My games/ fieldofglory2/SCREENS folder. Not a problem before?

Re: Version 1.5.21 Update

re the bounce off rules

"Non-cataphract cavalry" does this include Camel-mounted cavalry or are "cavalry" and "camelry" treated as distinct categories(ie only applies to the former)
