I have the same problem.

The new websites eliminated the old opponents wanted list generic to each game. These lists included a large number of players. Now, opponents wanted is limited to forum listing only. This translates to most of the opponents wanted listed being eliminated. That does not sound like an improvement.

If you sign in to the game on the FOGE site, there is generally a game recruiting. If not, start one yourself. Usually fill in a few days and then start.

My garrison at Syracusae was strong. HI, skirmishers, ect. Rome still battered them down and took the city. It took a while. So, it depends on who you are against.

Unless I am missing something, there is only one scenario! For a game this broad and involved it is obvious they must be planning a follow up with various scenarios which may include multi player scenarios. Kind of suprised they did not have more than one scenario.

I ordered the game. Should be here soon. I've watched the tutorials. I've read the game reports on Lohr's multi player game. I've watched the utube challenges as to Rome and Carthage. Looks like a good game. Plenty of game without the add on of fighting the battle in Field of Glory II.
