Re: Duplex's Scenarios

It's a pity there's no real "scenario trigger" manual out there. Specifically how to constuct working trigger combinations for objectives. I mean, this is one the "usual-type" objectives (like destroy all units, do X amount of damage, kill X units, take X towns, finish before turn X, do not lose X ...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Update v1.1.2 for Iwo Jima: Graphic bugs ? Hm...I haven't seen those before. I think the revealed hexes are from the deploy hexes that are available after the deployment phase, but I'm not sure what that darkened hex would be. Maybe I will keep the shallow water though, I don't think that matters t...

Re: Event Images

It seems all of my event images are coming out as white boxes. I don't think it's the images themselves, as I've tested it with other pictures from other campaigns, still white screen. Not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm doing it. Usually, this means OOB is not finding your images. Did ...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Update v1.1.2 for Iwo Jima: - Briefing has a little more clarification - Shifted some Japanese supply - (potentially?) fixed the clear resistance objective I changed the kind of unit it detects from "Alive" to "Deployed". I'm not quite sure what the distinction is between the two, but I think that s...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Duplex returns with Iwo Jima v1.0.0! (1945) Thanks! Nice one. Good action, played very well without any real problems. I just love having those B-29 Flying SuperFortresses in my core... 8) :D Although I have to say I was a bit surprised of the hefty air resistance from the Japs after I was told to ...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Duplex returns with Iwo Jima v1.0.0! (1945) Fight as the Americans over a small but vital island. Featuring mountain batteries and brutal hand-to-hand combat, the scenario stays intense all throughout! It's been nice getting back into OOB, I now remember why I loved this game so much. :D  All ...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

v1.3.3 of the Great Manchurian Offensive: - buffed some Japanese units - fixed the YingKou trigger, both the "red arrow" and the Goodbye event - moved a reinforcement wave forward - RP income tweaked - other minor tweaks Still no Flying Tigers in this scenario. I'm going to keep the aerial harassmen...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Dalian 1943 v1.3.4 : 8) An excellent scenario! :D All’s working smooth and nice, no issue found. Major Victory ( at level 3, as usual ) on the 39th turn ( out of 50 ). Spoiler alert : I think the best thing to begin this scenario is to deploy most of our units together in the North of DaLian (inclu...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Update v1.3.0 for Great Manchurian Offensive is here! Thanks to some quality community feedback, we've got some very good changes: - Significantly reduced the amount of units for both sides (this helps both with gameplay and performance, so some more people might be able to run this map now) - Japan...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Hong Kong 1942 v1.4.0 : 8) I've just played this great scenario. No big issue found. Here are few comments, suggestions, etc. -> Event "Japanese Attacks":  What about adding within the text something like: "While fighting is still raging in Hong Kong, the Japanese have also landed troops and ...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Thanks for all the comments guys. Handing over my scenarios for someone else to make a campaign out of might be a good idea at some point. I could consider it, but I'm certain I won't be making one myself. I've just made a little research ... There are indeed many opportunities to create great scena...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

So, a Chinese Civil War campaign (1927-1935) may possibly come later, there is still hope, which is great. :D But let's talk a little from another topic, shall we?  So, what about creating anoter campaign , based on the work already done with the " China Series "? Making a sing...

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

Well, after your suggestion, I've been trying the Manchurian Offensive, 1942. I must declare my very limited knowledge about the Sino-Japanese War, not to mention a shameful ignorance of Chinese history at large. Playing this one even stimulated me to read something about this specific period and s...

Respectfully, may I suggest that you create single player versions for these scenarios?
Shanghai is my only multiplayer scenario. Every single other one is singleplayer! Feel free to try them out!

Re: Duplex's Scenarios

The long overdue revamp of Shanghai (1v1 Multiplayer) is here! I just couldn't stand looking at the horrible monstrosity that was v1.0.2 any longer. It was the first scenario I ever created, so cut me some slack :D , but I thought it was about time it got a makeover. Shanghai v1.1.0 comes with: - an...

Re: DLC plans past Red Triology

Okay, so I gave it some thought, and here's my pitch for a DLC playing as the Chinese Nationalists (hopefully feasible): The OP gave an idea by saying there could be multiple cores for a western front campaign. This could work, but as a mechanic for the Nationalists as well! To represent the fractur...

Re: DLC plans past Red Triology

Did someone mention China? I say this a lot but I won’t stop lobbying for it , a China DLC would be absolutely fantastic. Would be an instant buy for me. Yes, it would undermine my own scenarios, but I love playing official content, it’s far better than mine! Hmmm, LandMarine in the OP gave me ...

http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=374&t=64990&start=40#p738037 This will be my one entry for now. It's a standalone singleplayer scenario I created for Shard's Summer Scenario Shakedown - the 400, which unfortunately :( never really had a conclusion. I consider it my most polished pie...
