Seriously, what's up with that? Noticed it, too.

Re: Unmoved Transports Zzzz...

Agree, it's a bit annoying. Same as with recon (2-step) vehicles that did not use their second movement and you'll get the "unmoved unit" popup each turn.

Re: The "Gabe-Mod" (v8.1.0)

Updated to game version v8.1.0 . Link as always in the first post. It's actually a "work in progress" build; expect an updated version soon. It's fully playable, but I did not check/fix some reported issues since the release of the update, yet: - unlocked the Soviet "GAZ-AAA_Maxim" AA/AT switch uni...

Can someone nuke their way through 43-44 and try export/import over to 44-45 and see what they get????
Won't work. It's a copy/paste error with the US44-45 campaign. Erik, see screenshot:

Re: Erik's campaigns

Just finished US Corps 43-44 - Can I export my core forces over to US Corps 44-45?? Or are these custom campaigns NOT linked up that way???? Did not think to try when I went from 42-43 over to 43-44 so I thought would look in to it now.... I did try just now to do the carry over and does not seem t...

Re: Naval Attack value versus Mechanical?

There is a "mechanical" attack and defense type but I confess to not knowing what that is, exactly; I assume it has something to do with animation. Those decide which stats are gonna be used if the unit's attacking or being attacked. I'm not quite sure myself, but I think it's about the defense sta...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Now, why would the game mark the secondary objective as completed but only give a Minor Victory? Who knows? That's programming. It could be that the game evaluates Major/Minor Victory first, sees the secondary objective is still open, then says "Minor Victory" but when it closes out the scenario, i...

Re: What does "Scenario turn limit" mean, exactly?

Anybody have thoughts? Has this indeed been common knowledge that I am only catching up to now? Because if it is true that "Scenario turn limit" is the same as "Turn Limit" and not end-of-scenario, then I'd like to know for my own work and for when I'm asked to do CSI sweeps. Basically, then, "Scen...

Re: Haako's Scenarios

Great! I planed and test a lot to achieve good balance. If you would put those additional Enemy ships, then which part of the map is better? West, under middle island (atoll) or around eastern island? I'd place them probably in the south-east corner, defending the last major island, supported by th...

Re: Erik's campaigns

I'm playing "US Corps 1942-43_1.1" at the moment and I've got to say that the Bruce-Erik design/CSI team did a hellovajob with the workings of the campaign. Although I've been too pampered playing vanilla campaigns and forgot how difficult (and frustrating  ) Eriks stuff can be at times, I'm r...

Re: Current Bugs - Version 8.1.0

I can reproduce the problem by starting up the first scenario of the Sandstorm campaign, buying two SM.79 bombers to bring down the Italian RP to 160, and then upgrading the Italian 75/18 gun to a 149/19 gun with mandatory Breda 61 truck (the cost for the truck is displayed in red because I can aff...

Re: CSI Sweep: Germany East 1941-42

Here is the supply situation after it lands. Note that the supply plane has has actually decreased the land supply surplus by 3! That is, it doesn't lend +3 supply, it costs -3 supply. But that's neither here nor there; the important thing is that it did nothing else to the levels of available land...

There was some lost infantry unit "hiding" in the eastern mountains that prevented the <7 hex objective Looks like you cleared the Lower Vosges after all, since it's checked on the victory pic. That counter jacked me around a couple of times too but it never messed up my ending. Yeah, the scen work...

- If you have enough resource points remaining to upgrade a unit, but not enough to also upgrade to the selected transport, you can perform the upgrade *anyway*. On top of this, you pay no resource points *at all* in this specific situation, neither for the unit upgrade nor for the transport. Maybe...

In this latest build I seem to have an issue where loading a save game will occasionally open the game as a replay instead. Anybody else running into that?
Yep, but not just since the last build. But it happens so rarely and arbitrarily, that I didn't care about it TBH.

I'm not sure how you managed to pay for 2x high vet KV2 without being bankrupt. But I was. Twice. Somewhere mid-mission at Raseiniai and then again at Smolensk. So what? Doesn't mean that I have to resort to regular repairs then. Just wait a few turns and save the RPs until you can elite repa...

Not really, but you're aware that only a fraction of the included models can be reskinned, right? Most units out of the German ro...

Re: 'Tanks, more tanks, Tovarish!' - Red Star Review and Discuss

Units with an AT gun behind them will take substantially less damage from tanks btw. That's a misconception, though. Supporting units in OoB increase the attacking stats only. Your tactics are sound otherwise IMO, together with what you wrote in the other thread. Other players that want to get bett...
