A spot of feedback

I bought the game today and it runs fine, but I wish the onscreen text was a bit bigger, as it's hard to read on my 27" monitor. I've tried various resolution settings but it stays small. Also the 3D unit graphics are not bad but tend to blend into the background, so I'd like to see an option to mak...

Re: 2D option ?

I agree with Philoumg, I want to play the game like a 2D boardgame such as Risk, moving units from area to area, and wish there was an option to disable the 3D tactical battles.

Re: Self-restriction ideas to spice up a campaign?

I wouldn't insult the AI too much, they might remember it when they take over the world at some point :D Let the AI bots bring it on in the real world, I'll have 'em for breakfast..:) I've been running rings round the AI in every computer wargame I've owned over the past 36 years, that's why I have...

Re: Self-restriction ideas to spice up a campaign?

Personally I use a dice a lot in computer wargames to see what units it allows me to purchase, for example we'd all love a Tiger but if the dice says "no, but you can have a Pz IVH", it adds an extra challenge to the game to force us to make do with what the dice (aka 'High Command') gives us. Same ...

Thanks, is there a thread listing all the mods somewhere, I can't seem to find one?

Been away for 18 months, missed any new DLC's?

Hi guys, I just re-installed Pz Corps Gold (v 1.30 download from Matix) after an absence of 18 months and it works fine.
It contains all the DLC's but have any new DLC's been released in the past 18 months that I need to buy?

Re: 'Tanks, more tanks, Tovarish!' - Red Star Review and Discuss

Just discovered this T-38 SWIMMER in Red Star, the little Russian beauty can cross rivers as if they're not there because it has the "swimmer" trait and can give jerry a nasty surprise because it can shoot up soft targets, AND can cut his supply lines. He hasn't got any swimmers of his own, haha..:)...

Re: Crossing the Rubicon on "Unreliable"

Spike, by showing your Christmas tree decorations, you only convince me that I was right If you think you're right to buy unreliable junk go ahead but I avoid it like the plague. I've just won all 13 Red Star standalone scenarios and have just won the first 3 campaign battles, so I must be doing so...

Yes it's a glitch, it's happened to me once or twice (below) but they shrink back to normal size very quickly..:) Regarding pics, I put mine in photobucket and pick up the link from there to post in the forum like this- https://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g64/PoorOldSpike/sub4/sub4001/oob-glit_zpsboo...

Re: Crossing the Rubicon on "Unreliable"

..We all know the nick of this "some guy" begins with "K". And whether you like it or not, he is right. I can't remember who 'K' is, maybe he's the devs blue-eyed boy which is why they listened to him and not us..:) He's only right up to a point, tanks did break down historically but the ver...

Re: Crossing the Rubicon on "Unreliable"

..This is my opinion, of course. I am not advocating that the trait be removed from the game.. I am mate, the sooner it's thrown out the better..:) Ironically the devs reduced the severity of its effects in 716 or 718 (can't remember which) but then some guy complained that he wanted the old severe...

There's a new trait with the Soviet Guards infantry units: "veteranUpgrade"
Where exactly did you see the word "veteranUpgrade"?
It's not mentioned for the Gds in the Nav Tool, and I can't see it on the units themselves in the editor.

Re: 'Tanks, more tanks, Tovarish!' - Red Star Review and Discuss

These quick-glance charts by Bru and Spike should prove useful to many players. I also learn a lot myself from our charts too, for example in the MAIN CONTENDERS chart I posted earlier, I see that the KV-2 is better than I thought, so I'll probably buy them more often in future. Its gigantic 152mm ...

How about:
"No, it is the PzIII Ausf. J.
The PzIII Ausf. L is available in June 1942."
Ah that's better, I've edited my former post accordingly..:)
