Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Thanks Guys, your changes should help make it a much better scenario. I think where it fell apart was there was not enough resistance in the early going which allowed the Allied player to cover way too much ground. This then creates the crazy scenario where you have SS Panzers beaming into the middl...

Falaise - Epic Fail as a Scenario

Hi Guys, though I have very much enjoyed your British Normandy campaign, the end Scenario - Falaise fails on multiple levels. Here is why. 1. It is far too easy in the early going. I was able to wipe out most of the depleted German units before the counter attack commenced. 2. As to the above I was ...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Hey no worries Erik, You guys are putting together a bang up campaign. This one's an easy fix with the Cheat Codes mid game.

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

13Caumont - Still have the missing "Queens Own" units. Looking at the scenario design, there are supposed to be 4 units deploy but they are all have the designation "Missing Unit". Boy are they EVER! :D . Not sure what units are supposed to be there but I've added RP to buy 4 British inf units (and ...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Regarding Candaian units...

There is an issue with "advance to Cristot". I have 6 AirCp available to the Canadians however, having started at Gold Beach, I have no Canadian Air units available, nor can I purchase any. Was I supposed to have picked some up along the way? I'm playing v1.7.

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

One other observation on Worthington. Was it your intension that the German go into a low supply state when their 2nd wave appears? If the British hold the town SE of the Hill then the Gemans stay in a state of low supply and decreased effectiveness. I certainly did not mind that as it was a touch h...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Thanks Erik, I started over with 1.7 and found the Canadian Armor this time. Thanks for including them. However, I don't see any way to deploy my 8 British Air Points? Edit: I found the issue. It was the "Offmap Air Supply" checkbox again. Edit: Found a much bigger problem. At 14:30 when the British...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Found another anomaly with your British Normandy Worthington Scenario. I started to deploy for the Worthington Scenario and noticed something rather odd. The complete lack of any armor. Looking this up, this is an ahistorical anomaly. Task force Worthington was composed of the British Columbia Armor...

When I was playing Bois Du Homme, it was on v1.6.

Thanks for the updates.

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Few More Bug Reports for the British Normandy Campaign: Bois Du Homme - Artillery victory points flag is not working. I inflicted 17/12 damage with Arty and got the "Good Show" from Monty but in the end I only got a Minor Victory as the victory flag still had a red X. Tiger's March - Again an issue ...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

The BrucEric alliance drew me back into OOB while I anxiously await Panzer Corps 2. All in all its a great campaign that has got me interested in, and reading more about, the British offensives about Caen. However there are a few warts on this prince of a mod. Most of pre-Epson has been covered and ...

Re: Order of Battle is coming to console!

Folks are surprised that the long suffering followers of half baked releases of OOB for the PC fail to rejoice that efforts to fix the still unresolved issues with the PC version are being redirected to the Console world? If you think that porting OOB to the console world will lead to a renaissance ...

Re: Endsieg

Ok, I surrender. That attitude certainly explains why this situation exists. Thank you for clarifying it for me. You can safely say you’ve seen the last dime from me for anything published by Slitherine. It had been an educational experience. One I will happily share with others.

Re: Endsieg

I fail to see How can it be said that Endsieg is not a defective product? There are serious errors in the scenarios that make them unplayable if you do not know how to fix them. Continuing to sell, without a disclaimer, a product that you know to be defective is at the very least dishonest, could be...

Re: Endsieg

So Andy, I find your rational intruding. It seems it is fine to defraud customers by continuing to sell a knowingly defective product since to do the correct and ethical approach to suspend sales until the issue is resolved will detract from the fix? What about ethics and accountability? They don’t ...

Re: Endsieg

Andy you are correct, to a degree, in that fixing the bugs in the program is rather complicated by the number of DLCs. However Bru makes a bigger point that the recent DLC, that is loaded with game killing bugs COULD have been easily fixed by a DLC patch months ago, yet for some strange reason, not ...

I have also noticed Allied / Russian SPA being able to ignore ZOC rules and just zip past your units to grab an objective in your rear.

Re: Italiens in Endsige

Yep you loose the Italians. Using a Sandstorm core in Endsiege puts you at a major disadvantage as you will start without any SS units, nor much in the way of any Research or Resource Points to add them. You can eventually add them in but it will suck resource points away from your regular core to d...

Re: IS OOB really and truely dead?

While I will admit that among the tarnish and lack of craftmanship there is a decent game in OOB, recent releases and the lack of at least an interim patch since Endsiege, and its release 3 months ago with the DLC killing bugs, are a legitimate concern. OOB has exhibited a pattern of lack of develop...
