Re: 1.1.0 Public Beta available on Steam - Skirmish mode add
I have recovered the Steam key, but despite many attempts I have been unable to understand where I must enter it :(. Can someone please explain me how can I get access to the beta? On a side line, it would be nice to know if I must follow the discussions on Steam to know something about a game I bou...

Re: 1.1.0 Public Beta available on Steam - Skirmish mode add
I would be more than happy to try the Beta, but can I download it from Steam even though I didn't bought the game on Steam?

Re: Where are special maneuvers
You're welcome.
As regards to your question, move the stick on the first notch on the left/right: the plane will sideslip one hex in that direction (this is considered as a "straight" move for tailing purposes).

Re: Where are special maneuvers
Move the stick at the centre, then move it down to make an Immelmann/Split-S. This will reverse the aircraft heading by 180°. You can make a 120° heading change by further moving the stick left or right. Then you will have to decide if you want to perform an Immelman (by setting a positive altitude ...

Re: Tailing & Ramming
I think tailing is enabled when the tailing aircraft is in the rear 60° of an enemy (tailed) aircraft that lies in its forward 60° - the tailed aircraft will have to provide information about the attitude (climb/level/dive) and the direction (left/straight/right) of its plotted move. It will not pro...

Is this a user-only forum?
I waited until the redirect count from the Matrix forum hit the 1,000 mark to post this. I love the game, but I am greatly disappointed by the lack of communication with the team that made it. The game has been released on March 15th, but so far - except the ever-present Zakblood :D - no author or d...

Re: Surprise Over Brooklands
I made another attempt and this time - surprise! - I was allowed to set up on the south-west edge of the map instead of the north-east one. Starting behind the 110's if even worse than starting in front of them, as you have to pursue them (which are flying at speed 4, so you can only gain ...

Surprise Over Brooklands
Has anybody been able to win this scenario playing with the RAF? I played it at least half a dozen times: the best result I have obtained so far is shooting down four Bf 110 (including the air-to-ground expert), but a lone Bf 110 managed to overfly the factory and destroyed it anyway. The light AA u...

Re: Move Charts Class A B C D F
I was too eager to play, so I missed several fine (and not so fine ) points in the rules.

Re: Move Charts Class A B C D F
Thanks for the card images and the reference to the hangar. I should have paid more attention to the latter :D . I just gave it a passing glance, thinking it only was a display of 3D modelling. May I ask some other questions? What do the climb/dive rates mean? What CAB are considered "High"...

Re: Move Charts Class A B C D F
Thanks a lot!
Is the move class associated with a specific aircraft mentioned somewhere? I see the Fiat CR 42 Falco is a move class "A" aircraft (its better - and sole - quality), but the others?

I agree! The PDF of the QRC would have been a nice addition to the documentation.

Download the CY6 Quick Reference Card from Boardgamegeek: it provides some hindsight in the game mechanics.

Re: Dev tool or the beginning of an editor?
I strongly hope a scenario editor is added to the game, as it would lead to a proliferation of user-created scenarios that in turn will make the game more interesting (I have already played all the scenarios with the British and approximately half of them with the Germans )

Select the list of your (or enemy) aircraft and move the cursor over the icon: a brief explanation will appear.

Re: Check Your 6! OUT NOW
I bought it as soon as I arrived home tonight and spent the whole evening playing it .
A scenario/campaign editor would definitely be a great addition to the game.
