Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

Also, I have taken an interest in this mod, so I will quietly offer my CSI sweeping capability should you wish to call upon me. Do so only if you wish my help, not from any sense of obligation. I only work with people who want my assistance and take no offense if they take a pass on my offer. At th...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

Thanks, Bru. My idea was to update the title of the thread when the new version was ready, but i will think about it. And talking about the devil, the first half of the creature (up to the Coruna scen) is more or less ready, with the new specs, units and branching points working as intended at the m...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

Thanks for the good words, guys ^_^ Not really, but you're aware that only a fraction of the included models can be reskinned, right? Most units out of the German roster, but only a very few US, Jap and Brit vehicles. Don't know about the new Soviet units, though. I... did not  I was having p...

Any ETA on this DLC?

Last I read about 3 weeks ago was this summer.
Dunno if it is relevant, but in steam the release date is... today :|

Note that torpedo damage is higher the closer you are to the target.
Yep, I also noticed that. What I am no so sure about is if there is any difference between shoot befor (not) moving or moving and then shoot.

Re: Survey of Working Specialisations

Very informative info as always, thanks, Horst. Some weeks ago I tried (with mixed success, I must confess) to edit some specs for my mod. Reusing Specs as new requeriments for units is easy (and creating little icons for them is both possible and fun). https://i.imgur.com/TwzWMq0.jpg What I don't k...

Congratulations :) Have fun and then let us know.

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

I don't know how much time have you been in the forum, JB, but the devs don't usually answer modding questions directly, i'm afraid :) And now, something completely different. - Like in a real war, while creating a mod, sometimes you win, and others you lose; and today i didn't win :( So came with m...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

Really nice textures !!! Its possible to use them also as new skins for the planes and use also the old ones ? Maybee in an special sub folder in the texture folder ? Than I like to work also on some german "Legion Condor" textures - my grandfather were there. But I dont find any plane textures in ...

Re: Editing Scenarios from the Campaign Editor

What Bru said. A short-cut to open the scenario editor from the campaign editor would be nice, though. Similar to running the scenario from the editor. Indeed. The actual system is not awful, but it can be a little annoying (your are testing your campaing and have to edit a scn so have to go back to...

Re: Next DLC?

Sandstorm is my favourite DLC and yes, one of the reason is that we have a lot of diversity and marvelous air/navy/land scenarios like Herkules :)

The problem with a soviet DLC would be if there is room for that kind of variety...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

Yep, maybe the grey texture is slightly blue-ish and the St Andrew Cross (the black cross in the rudder) is not as clear as it should be (it's clearer in the He 51) but i have to confess i'm pretty satisfied with my Bf 109 B :)

Thanks, Terminator! 8)

Re: LCT and LCVP

The funny thing is the unit i was trying to re-skin (Do18) needed a different name in the tga file in order to make it work (Do_18) no idea why. As soon as I try it with with different units, everything worked perfectly :) I'm glad you got it sorted. Didn't know that you had to change the texture n...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

Thanks to Gabe (well, thanks to a lot of contributors here in the forums, but Gabe give me the final clue) I was able to slowly building up the plane rooster for the campaign during this week. For some units it was very straightforward (i repainted the Bf 109 G with the colours of the Condor Legion ...

Re: LCT and LCVP

As the textures are using the same names as the 3D models, it's relative easy to replace a texture of an existing vanilla model. Mind you elaborate, Gabe? I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to reuse some units from the vanilla game (same 3d model, different texture) and I think this is like the key proble...

Re: LCT and LCVP

Its a new model. I dont know - how to use the Vanilla model with new textures. As the textures are using the same names as the 3D models, it's relative easy to replace a texture of an existing vanilla model. But if you want a clone unit of a vanilla unit with different textures, then you also need ...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.15)

Ok, i need to ask cause I spent my free time today (instead of fixing bugs :/) trying to find (unsuccessfully) an answer in the forum. I'm trying to apply a new texture to a unit i recycled form the vanilla version of the game (the do18). It seems that i need a mdb 3d file in the mod in order to the...
