Re: Oxford 1 Day Event - 11 October 2020
They are the same, as long as we don't go to Tier 2 will be OK, of course anyone coming to the club must also be coming from a tier 1 area just to add a level of complication.

Re: Oxford 1 Day Event - 11 October 2020
Tom if you are keeping you and Paddy apart you should keep Keith and Ray apart as well. And Steve and Dean apart as same clubs as well, and keep Royalist v Parliament So I would suggest Dene v Keith or Tom Paddy v Steve or Keith Ray v Paddy or Tom So once you choose who Dene plays the rest will fall...

we currently have 5 tickets sold, so i have reduced the max number allowed to 6, so no reason cannot go ahead, unless people do not want it to.

Re: Roll Call 2020..?
What worries me is the isolation of over 70's they are talking about, which means Bob and I think Ray shouldn't be going (FOGR), it does then lead to how many other players in other competitions that might affect. ( I don't know of any others in the FOGR group at that age but may be wrong)

Re: Godendag 2020
As I am doing list checking, I will use the cheapest points of bases actually used. So if you go Royalist raiding force and only buy Superior Armoured Cavaliers you get an extra 18pts, if you go Scots Royalist you get an extra 3 points (compulsory poor pikeman). I think they may be the two extremes....

Re: Tournaments
As far as I can tell there are only 3 15mm 2 day tournaments for FOG-R. Godendag and Burton are 800-900 pts 4 games, so that only leaves Warfare. Campaign is 2 day 25mm, and Roll Call and the 4 Oxford rounds are 1 day. Did I miss one. And in our morning game your dice were not that bad, you passed a...

Re: Rule Tweaks for 2020
I am an aye on the rules for Cavalry, it seems to work OK. Other things we have tried Dragoons after 1670 (or a date around this) , can make a full move even within 6" of the enemy if they pass a CMT. By this time Dragoons were almost becoming cavalry that dismounted, and usually kept their hor...
