Re: Maximum Prestige and Soft Cap...

You can have more than 100k prestige (it keeps recording but doesn't show the 1 for 100k+ as only five digits shown) and you need around 20k prestige for 44 and another 20k prestige for 45 (=on average, many factors are influencing this, e.g. your difficulty level, play style, capability as a player...

Re: Elite US Paras in Panzer Corps US Corps

It's because the SE Airborne is available on the same date in 1941 as the regular Airborne unit and is a slightly better (+1 HA) version. The upgraded regular US Airborne 43 version becomes available on 1/1/43 but there is no comparable upgrade to a '43 version for the SE Airborne, hence it stays a...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

Please allow me to ask, is there actually any difference between the Fw 190 A-2 and the Fw 190 A-5 (i.e. in terms of stats)?
I understand the value is different but other than that?

By the way, I read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focke-Wul ... 0#Fw_190_A

Re: Battlefield Europe v1.9 – month by month

What a great AAR and amazing gameplay... I read every day report. Total Victory, but in 1942/43 there were enough problems - Soviet counterattack, Torch, British, air raids, Partisans .... How long did the entire campaign last? Thanks Erasermarek! I just checked my files, I played the four (easy) p...

Anyone up for a new game/match?! :)
Will we be doing a Me Axis you Allied game once you're done clobbering me in our first game?
Sure, we should do this! We can even start this earlier I guess...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

Ah ok, no rush then, please... I was thinking of maybe playing a full campaign from Poland again... while (for time reasons back then) I haven't finished the one that I had started for version 2.0 though... maybe I will try something else... it would be very nice if some more people give BE multipla...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

And by the way, here is the latest beta version of the mod, which mainly comes with various fixes for the multiplayer version, mainly balancing, things that we have found during the testing, but also some minor bug fixes. You might want to restart your current game and play with this latest version...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

Thanks!

Well, we played around three months but also with a few breaks due to some travel (mainly on my side). Thanks for updating the multiplayer list!

We may also share some lessons learnt, will see...

Great... please allow one question: with No Fog of War... the AI behaves differently, doesn't it? It will also be harder to trap it?

Re: Multiplayer problem game reverts to start screen

Hi PeteMitchell thanks for the reply. I have got another PzC installation where I play most of my modded games . However I started playing MP against a friend who had also got the same mod. When I tried to play MP games on the second installation I get a message ''serial number is registered''. Is ...

Re: Multiplayer problem game reverts to start screen

Just as an idea, sometimes it can be easy to have a complete separate PzC installation (on the same PC) for a specific mod.

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

Any tips for invading the UK? I tried a winter 41/42 invasion, but so far failed (but I also messed up too much in the east, so need to restart from turn 1 anyway). I tried to gather my naval units, and escort my troops over, but it seems hard to get a decent amount of troops on land with mines and...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

is there a list of triggers for either version? I am talking about a document @Alex: I think what could be prepared manually (based on our collective knowledge) is some basic overview of a) major events (i.e. what happens/can happen at certain turns, many things are dependent on overall situation) ...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

It seems important when planning the strategy to be able to anticipate what SOV forces one can expect. Therfore, since the number of new Allied reinforcements depend on how successful is the Axis advance, it is impossible to create such a document as that would require a seperate document for each ...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

However, it is also to be mentioned that Alex is doing a great job here! :) @Alex, as you know yourself, maybe you have played a bit too offensively in the beginning (e.g. around Moscow) but this game is not lost for the Allies yet... and for a long time not even close to be won for the Axis as the ...
