1.Add the Euzonoi to some Diadochi nations' army lists? 2.Should give the late German superior warband new armoured models and rated them to some armour? 3.Maybe next step should give the roman and late roman army some new models which the TT mod already had(3rd century legionaries, late cavalry and ...

Re: Some units when export battle to FOG2 will missing

I test it again, use my Rome saved data.No hit points,no lack of supply.I got 12 infantry skirmishers,10 skirmish cavalries, 7 medium cavalry units in the Empires, but when exported,I only got 7 infantry skirmishers,7 skirmish cavalries and 5 medium cavalry units in Fog2.I have not count the other un...

Can you set an option in the game's setting menu to let the players turn off the damping system manually?(or not turn it off if who like that or who think can not manage a big sized army in Fog2)
We will look into it.
Many thanks

Re: Some units when export battle to FOG2 will missing

I think maybe I found where the problem is.I fought a battle earlier and my army size is similar like this. But before the battle none of my units got hit points but I still missed one cavalry and one elephant when exported. Then I look the Empires' manual again,And it said "A damping system on the ch...

Re: Some units when export battle to FOG2 will missing

you missed this section: In larger battles the unit conversion ratio is down-scaled to keep the number of units manageable This is really bull shit.I have controled 61 units in FOG2's epic battle Chalons(I'm on the Hunnic side) but I still can well manage them.Just want an at least 1:1 conversion. ...

Some units when export battle to FOG2 will missing

I exported a battle to FOG2 earlier, then I found I missing some units.I take control of 4 elephants,9 cavalry and 16 medium infantry units in the Empires, but only 3 elephants,6 cavalry and 14 regular infantry units were exported into battle, what's wrong with this?Could we even can't have an 1:1 conv...

Re: Which Armies/Units would you like to see

1) I would like to see the Pyrrhic list split in two: Pyrrhus in Italy, and Pyrrhus in Greece. Pyrrhus in Italy should have be the one where he has hoplite and italian foot auxiliaries, while the Pyrrhus in Greece list should be the one with warbands representing Galatian mercenaries and thureophor...

Re: Suggestion:add the plain(Mediterranean,North European,Middle East) for the map types.

Regarding medieval, I was under the impression that the armies are smaller than ancient. I’m I wrong to think this way? Some battles were still above fifteen thousands men(Lechfeld was above fifteen thousands, and Crecy was above at least twenty-five thousands),these numbers in the game are indeed ...

It would indeed be nice, if the random map generator could take the date into account when calculating the percentages between open and wooded terrain. At least for Northern Europe.
Indeed, let's just wait for what they'll do.

Re: Suggestion:add the plain(Mediterranean,North European,Middle East) for the map types.

Will Large battle players see the same thing? Or will their lines be broken up by terrain? I’m asking because I only play medium size and find the open space to be fine and not restrictive. Yes,I always play the 2000 points' scale large battles.I think most of the scenarios are large scale too.Unfo...

Re: Suggestion:add the plain(Mediterranean,North European,Middle East) for the map types.

The Lechfeld (Feld=Field) is a sandur south of Augsburg formed during the last glacial epoch. So, it's indeed a (small) natural "plain". I would classify it as heathland, so agricultural field tiles are "correct" for this. In the end it comes down that ancient northern Europe is not suited for hors...

Re: Suggestion:add the plain(Mediterranean,North European,Middle East) for the map types.

And I remember such as the battle of Crecy,Grunwald,Wakefield,Towton, all of these battles were happen on the plains so I think it's still necessary to make that map type. It would help if you explained exactly what you mean by a "plain". At Crecy the French charges were hampered by muddy ground and...

Re: Suggestion:add the plain(Mediterranean,North European,Middle East) for the map types.

As pinwolf says, most deforested lowland areas were in fact agricultural, for which there is already a map type. Fields in Northern European and Mediterranean maps count as open terrain. Few areas in Northern Europe were completely deforested, so there will still be areas of woodland on such maps. ...

In Europe there was no such things as big open plains.
but there are countless flat empty areas in Europe large enough for two Dark Age armies to fight on.
That is correct.
