I don't find myself building many boats, or even galleys. I try to "hold the shores" until I can build Trireme's. Those ships are so much better. Also, the stats of attack = 5 and defense = 3 really encourage being the aggressor. Now, besides just improving base stats, or adding a lot more improveme...

I am enjoying the extended map. Thanks for that! One point, if you are still tweaking the map, is that there is water to the north of the German territories. That does not seen to make to much sense. I think it should be terra incognita, i.e., not allowed unit entry, and not shown as water. Thanks a...

1. After Pavel helped me understand the loyalty mechanic (thank you!), I stopped pillaging cities. I put the military unit in there and morale settles down. I also build the civic improvement when I have the tech. Since doing these things, I have not had the rebellion problems. I still *do* pillage ...
