Re: Erik's campaigns

Thanks Eric, I was using both areas, north and south on scenario 1. I jumped ahead to the next one, Kharkov 42. That one is more restrictive. There is a supply of 41 land CP, and there is 100 land CP available. So only about 40% can be deployed. There are neutral VP's very close that could be taken ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Hey Erik, Just downloaded Germany East 1942, V1.0. I always start my campaigns by buying my core army. This campaign has CP available but no RP Nocash.jpg I know I will always be challenged when playing your excellent works, but this one might be a little hard to overcome  Edit: Just a follow ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

More news from the front! It is not good news for our boys in uniform. Germany West 1944, V1.2 level 3, Monte Cassino scenario First, the secondary objective. On the first turn, first move, the allies move right in and wipe out the Fallschirmjager and move into the VP. So this objective is literally...

Re: Erik's campaigns

07Syracuse This scen is totally unbalanced in my opinion. Over two years have passed (06/41 -> 07/43!) and I've got no RPs to upgrade my units - and I have to upgrade EVERY SINGLE ONE of them to be able to compete with the enemy. And even then... a slaughter... no way to hold all the sec. VPs for e...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Hey Eric Germany West 41-43 (v2.1), lvl 3, scenario 2 Metaxas Just a quick observation. The deployment hex next to the airport is also an exit hex. I think we all know what happens when a unit is deployed there  Also, I have 3 land CP to deploy but only one CP of supply. i.e 2 points under su...

Re: Winter War 1939 Beta Test

Version 1.3, lvl 3, Sausage War I got a minor victory on this one. I chowed down on the sausages but just could not kill all the Russian units. They just kept going deeper in the woods, and I chased them. I'm sure the full stomaches did not help  All air deployment and exit hexes worked well, ...

Re: Winter War 1939 Beta Test

Version 1.3, lvl3, scenario Petsamo The phrase shooting fish in a barrel comes to mind on this one! The Russians never got a chance to advance. Got a major victory, so all objectives/triggers worked well. All deployment and exit hexes worked well also. Time to melt back into the forrest and wait for...

Re: Winter War 1939 Beta Test

Version 1.1, lvl 3, Scenario Salla-Kemijarvi I got a minor victory on this one. Shooting down two bombers is impossible on this one. Due to the distance from the air entry/exit, the fighter only has 1-2 turns of engagement. I went with the unorthodox approach of flying my fighter out of fuel to give...

Re: Winter War 1939 Beta Test

Version 1.1, lvl3 scenario Suomossalmi Just filing another report from the Finnish front. :) Took all the VP's by turn 4 and cleared the map by turn 8. Set up strong defensive positions until the Russians showed up on turn 10. Cleared the map again by turn 15 for a major victory. Now you as designer...

Re: Winter War 1939 Beta Test

Version 1.1, Lemetti Road By turn 8, I have 13 CP that I cannot deploy. There are 30 supply points and I have 29 CP deployed, resulting in a +1 supply condition. So the reinforcements from the last two turns are not doing me any good because I cannot deploy them. So far at turn 8 I am still holding ...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

UK and Canada 1944 Normandy I decided to run through the campaign again mostly because it was a lot of fun the first time :) I have a few notes as I am working through it. Version 2.0 In Villiers, there is 6 Canadian air CP but no Canadian aircraft. Not a big deal because there is plenty of air powe...

FYI, the Poles are controlled by the player
WHAT! No you tell me

What I meant to say  is that there were so many Polish units and not enough action near them, the the I never moved them. But I am also lazy with unit movement sometimes. 8)

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Normandy UK & Canada 1944 1.9 Eric/Bru, My experience at Falaise was much the same as kverdon. I had mastery of the map very early, and some of the polish units never moved. It was a little frustrating to have German troops pop up out of the blue in the middle of the controlled territory. I tried to...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

UK & Canada Normandy 1944 version 1.9, lvl 3 Just played Verriers and Bois. Wanted to pass on a few things The RTR worked great in Verriers, no issues. Had plenty of CP and RP to finish about 3 turns early. Still a few hiccups on Bois. First the air exits do not work properly, The exiting aircraft j...

Re: Erik's campaigns

BrucErik CSD Studios will maybe do a US Normandy campaign at some point, similar in scope to the UK/Can version. It is a lot of work though, so not in the near future. That is something worth waiting for  While your on the US-Corp 44-45 list, I have another one to add. On Pointe du Hoc, I got...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Just went back to the US corp for the fun of it US-CORP 44-45, V1.2, Omaha Beach lvl4 The trigger for the main objective counts 6 VP's but only shows 5 when you look at the details. It appears Louvieres is used in the count, but is not identified in the details Louvieres.jpg The objective/trigger wo...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Verrieres Ridge: V1.7. I did not get very far. In the briefing there is mention of the Royal Tank Regiment, but there is no unit in the area where the map is focused on. I looked through the units and did not find any Royal Tank Regiment in the listing. I deployed some British tanks and as much Cana...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Goodwood scenario : V1.5 (sorry, I was in the middle of it when the updates came out) lvl 3, standard replacements Wow :!: what a lot of units. There is plenty of RP and CP for this one. I had 91 undeployed CP for the Canadians at the start since there was only 33 RP. I had 46 undeployed British CP ...

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

I figured I would recount my last 4 days of the Epsom battle as I sit in the battalion aid station recovering from the shell-shock of the German artillery. This is my second time through each Epsom scenario since the first time was a complete disaster  version 1.5, level 3, standard rep...

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

I have to echo Bobster’s comments on JUNO D+1. I played at level 3 and got defeated handily  I scattered my forces around to work on shoring up the defenses, I spent most of the early turns just moving my forces to the Villons-les-Anisy and Buron area to stop the rout. By the time I reinforce...
