Re: Erik's campaigns

While cleaning my rifle between scenarios, I wrote down a few more notes US Corp 1944-45, V1, Cotentin, medium level This was a good one with the changing objectives. First off, there is a lonely german AT gun stuck in the sand. All he can do is sit and watch the whole US army roll past  Also...

Re: To buy or not to buy a core

[By the way, I hope you don't mind that I added "a core" to your subject. When I first entered the thread, I thought it was going to be one of those dreary "Convince me to buy this game!" discussions.] Spot on, Bru. You captured the true meaning of my subject. Maybe we can flip this whole thing on ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Interesting. I think this is the first player feedback stating a US Corps scenario is too easy :D Ok, after clearing my head, I may have to take back some of my typing  I continued with my Blizkrieg ways clear through Avranches. I was always out of rp and could not keep experience in my corp ...

To buy or not to buy a core

I have something to confess that is very controversial  Moderators, you can relax your grip on your mouse, because no censorship will be needed  There is no easy way to do this, so here it is I like to buy a brand new core every campaign I start  There I said it. I know I ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

US Corps 44-45 V1.0 Omaha Beach Scenario level 3 I took a few notes while I was sitting on the beach Shellshocked. Seems like I remember the PC version of this one being a tough one. The OOB version seems to be one sided in favor of the Allied armies. I started my core from scratch and bought expens...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Erik, before I start my sleepless nights trying to work through US Corps 44-45, I thought I would pass on something I captured Germany East 1941-42, v2.7 mission ilovlya I never lost the city in the primary objective, but did not get credit at the end of the scenario. It went the full number of turn...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Germany East 41-42 V2.7 Mission Sevastopol Choice I was given a choice at the beginning of the Sevastopol scenario, an attack or siege. There was no signpost to tell me I had a choice. No big deal since I think most of us know how to navigate the campaign choice mechanics. There is an odd behavior o...

Re: Erik's campaigns

US Corps 1943-44 (V1.2) : San Fratello Erik, I took the north approach through San Fratello. Played much better this time around. The Germans gave up rather quickly on this on though, on turn 11. I had not captured San Fratello or finished off the other Panzer, though his end was near since he was i...

Re: Erik's campaigns

US Corps 1943-44 (V1): Anzio This FW190 seemed to be unmoved that I was invading his airspace, quit literally  Though the last thing I want in this scenario is another Luftwaffe pilot roaming the skies, this one never did move/engage even after attacking him. Anzio.jpg Some comments on my expe...

Re: Erik's campaigns

US CORPS 43-44 - Mission 2 Gela Defense I think there needs to be an air unit exit hex at the bottom of the map. The airport behind the german lines is too hard to defend from the beginning, and the one that is controlled by the US is way too close to the front line. The Goering division quickly set...

Re: US Corps 1943-44

US Corps 1943-44 This campaign continues where US Corps 1942-43 left off. You should be able to import your core units from the previous campaign. As always, a big thank you to CSI surgeon Bru for his contribution. Download link in first post. Erik, you are an evil man! I have been waiting for more...

Re: What do I do with Steam Key

This looks like I need an installer application that is Windows based. Maybe I should have been more specific, How do I get the Steam launched game to get the DLC content on a Mac?

What do I do with Steam Key

I just bought some DLC from the Slitherine website with the D-Day discount. I found my steam key for the DLC, but don't know what to do with it. How do I get the Steam launched game to get the DLC content?

Re: Erik's campaigns

Just a few minor things on the US Corps. On the Guettar scenario, the ground forces outside of Thelepte do not seem to be controlled by the AI. They just sit there and let you pound on them until you kill them Guettar.jpg One the Hills scenario, the secondary objective does not seem to be working co...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Just adding my 2 cents. I consider myself a solid level 3 player. That does not mean I am a good level 3 player, but level three gives me the best chance at winning :P I have played up through Djebel and got a mix of major and minor victories, mostly ahead of schedule. (no cheats) Both non-training ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Erik So now I am on to Germany East 41-42. Got through the first few scenarios just fine. But when I got to Zolotonosha, after 4 turns it gave me a Major victory. Though I did like the way my forces were deployed, I think it is a little early to claim victory :P The Germans clearly do not have contr...
