I don't think Heroes or Traits will ever apply in multiplayer. Too much of a wildcard effect, players hate Paratroopers, do you think they would like random Heroes? Strange answer. Multiplayer scenario building - settings

Evening all

The game has been out a fair while now - multiplayer scenario design is still hamstrung. eg - heroes dont work, traits dont work. When will these be activated? Anyone know when we might get some easier to use modding tools?

The fact is, no matter what tank they built, the Germans were never going to match the production capacity of the Allies, so it wouldn't have mattered, and even if they somehow miraculously did they did not have the manpower - unless they developed unmanned drone tanks, or crewed by Nazi Zombies! I wouldn't say no to some price and slot balancing for late war units. 2 changes I've made in my ongoing multiplayer development. The first is the cost of the all terrain German armoured cars. Hmm - the ground defence values of the German wheeled armoured cars - variants on the 234 - are bonkers. Why some 18? As tough as a Sherman tank? Sorry - but that's ludicrous. Just started my first campaign - I only really want to play mp but thought I'd give it a go - and got scavenger as my first hero. Is that unusual?!

Anyway - I'm more interested in getting heroes into mp scenarios. Please can they be activated in the next patch!

I'm not sure I would like an idea to fix conscripts... by just making them more like every other infantry. Infantry suffer from a lack of diversity, making them less diverse seems like a step in the wrong direction. Increasing cost to 90 and reducing spotting range to 1 keeps them plenty different ...

In a multiplayer scenario we now have the option available to remove all units from the map to then redeploy them back on. However if this option is used it also removes any bunker and static unit from the map and then prevents them being deployed back down. Better probably if fixed structures didn'...

There's a bug in the units file that prevents South African infantry from purchasing transport. The truck unit type has nationality allocated to it of SA but the game is looking for ZA for South Africa. I've made the change in my own file and now it works fine - so pretty sure I'm right in this asse...

In jungle areas, combat is a matter of meters, foxholes, ambushes and lots of vegetation, the perfect environment for such a weapon. Given this, and their devastating impact on infantry in close positions up to around 40m, perhaps an increase in the close defence value is the answer. They are no go...
