Apparently, the enemy dragon suiciding itself while breahting fire on an enemy who is linked with him and reflects damage didn't sit well with the game.

Actually, this is not systematic. I had it get stuck 4 times in a row. Then I relaunched the game by mistake and gave it a try and now it went past the purple ai turn, but I see it processed things differently than previous run.

FG1 has options to pick one map or the next and you have also exactly the same thing in FG2. You can attack either of the barbarian tribes for example early on after you got the trolls to join you. Same as FG1 so I don't get any of your points.

This one is systematic. I played the turn slightly differently 3 times and always get stuck. The save should fail just hitting the end turn button, after the purple AI moves, it eventually gets stuck.

Regarding being unable to move after attacking, that's also the case in other games such as Age of Wonders: Planetfall that just came out. There are probably many others but I just don't know all the games. It's a valid design choice in my opinion, but I'd like to hear why one thinks it makes a game...

I didn't manage to break it again either when I tried. It's good you implemented autosaves, and thanks for the quick fix.

1. There are ruins etc. The rewards you get usually outrigh the 25 gold loss of losing one turn to get there. Also, in many maps, you have so much fog of war that you have to scout/explore anyway. 2. I was playing a scenario where Falirson got charmed by a harpy. The harpy probably got killed by some AI lizardman, because, during the green AI's turn, Falirson turned back from grey to blue. You never have the option, but the client state will give you territories if they are adjacent to several of your own territories. Also if it's not their capital. So if they are an island, you're stuck, otherwise, they will turn the border territories over time.

It seems to happen in one way for the ai, and for the player, you will get gifts of provinces only. Non capital provinces bordered by several of your own provinces (I think 3) will eventually get gifted. Looks like very random as to when that happens.

LDiCesare, just a quick workaround for your issue of missing "next idle region" button is to go to the "Regions" tab from the ledger, which shows all the buildings your regions are producing on the right. I use this regularly to set my building queues quickly and review if all regions are producing...

What you propose is a completely different game. It also doesn't address the question about what happens when you lose part of a province? If you have only 1 region left, what happens? You don't have control over it.
The abandoned palace is the former capital of a conquered nation. It's possible to have several in a single province.
You lose a building providing both legacy and decadence and get some infrastructure instead.
