Re: Bridges
Just for fun, I created that disaster mentioned above... made a temp N/S road and river and the crossed it twice... bridges are all messed up! https://i.imgur.com/lMsnvVj.jpg In reality, I just abandoned using shallow water for a river and it works for the purpose needed in the scenario. https://i.i...

Bridges
OH great ones who have done all of this before... troubled with getting a bridge to show correctly... tried to have a road and train span a 'shallow water' hex from the land hex on either side vs crossing a 'river' line that divides a single hex... On my scenario map the road and rail can be seen un...

Adding or tweaking commanders to the game
Well, since my last query was answered so quickly...
If one wants to either tweak an existing commander or add one to the data base, how does one?
Simplest, how would you merely copy one (accept duplicate artwork, just rename) and tweak values
Harder, anyone tried new artwork and then add etc...?

When you want to loan a unit to another country...
Ahem, if it has been answered, please point me... If you want to loan a unit to another country for a scenario, say for example, you want to give the Italians a loaner Panzer II or III in a scenario, or give the Free French a loaner unit from the Brits... is there a simple way that would not involve...

OK, so what *are* the applicable codes? Not really sure what this one does, no detailed explanation seems to exist... it'd be nice to be able to enable certain specializations on the fly or at least tweak the specialization points to spend.

Re: North Africa / Middle East
We desperately need some desert terrain types to be able to use, something along the lines of:
wadis, impassible hexes, sand dunes (though beach works-ish), dry river beds, escarpment lines (like rivers)
In the meantime, yes, we will make do...

Re: North Africa / Middle East
Glad to hear of all the activity, I admit to being a fan of this theatre of the war. Tan/pink for combat vehicles would be a nice option... unit variants named "Afrika Korps" or "BEF" or "Tropical"

Mixed units into one nation
Regrets, I feel this has been answered, but I couldn't find the thread... How does one take units from one nation and re-flag them for use in a scenario? For example, if one side was Italy and we wanted to assign some Me-109s flagged as Italian, or Some US tanks to Russians, or Brit equipment to the...

Help on setting deployment hexes
OOB WWII Setting Deployment hexes.jpg Hello comrades, Help a newbie trying to tinker. I'm trying to understand the use of setting deployment hexes. The context in the picture is a test scenario where you send your troop from your shoreline to travel across deep water to land at another nation. In t...
