Could you provide some more details?
Which unit are you targeting? Is it affected by effects that would prevent healing like Mystic Surge, being undead, or Raise Dead?
Is there a message that says the unit cannot be healed?

There should be a dosboxmom.conf file with the settings. It should be set to 100000 by default but depending on your computer, up to 200-250k works and doubles performance. Unfortunately, emulation is slow so once there are a lot of units in play to process, AI turns can take as much as 30-90 second...

I'm making progress on my "Caster of Magic II", I think it's safe to say it'll eventually be a completed game but for the time being it's still an alpha version.

I've tested building queues in the latest version but it was working properly. I'll investigate the scouting bug later, heroism should have no effect on unit scouting, if it does, that will need to be fixed. Unfortunately that is a known bug - every once in a blue moon, the game freezes when clicking away the global enchantment window. I wasn't able to find what causes it, as it happens too rarely to reproduce.

002 is "file not found". You either mistyped the filename or they are not in the folder where you entered the command.

No, unfortunately that seems to be a new bug. Weird, it works fine in Caster of Magic and I used the exact same solution for the CP. I will have to investigate what causes this.

Generating maps, especially the Tiny size, can take up to 2-3 minutes. I'd like to add that Dosbox's default emulation speed setting is horribly low which was likely the main reason the old GoG version was slow. This time the settings are configured to run the game at a proper speed a modern computer can handle. If you already bought the older version, you can speed it...
