Re: [Gameplay Bug] Unreliable trait display [New]

Personally I would prefer more FOW in the game.

Re: CSI Sweep: Extra!

Life is a long OOB-learning experience.

BTW, I'm not too concerned about players needing to play all turns to benefit from the sec objs rewards.
I've they are impatient there is always the nuke option, especially if you have already won.

[Gameplay Bug] Unreliable trait display [New]

Unit's suffering from the unreliable trait is visible to the enemy.
This info should be hidden to non-friendly units.
A similar case could be made regarding enemy unit's supply state. You don't really know how many beans the enemy has left.

Check the AI KV-1 with low efficiency.

Re: CSI Sweep: Extra!

I chose the quick and dirty fix. Added scenario turn end to a suitable pri obj.

Re: Erik's campaigns

I think the core name 'US Forces' need to be the same in all campaign set-ups. The players may rename their own cores to whatever. Otherwise it would be a bit difficult for the player to know what name to give the core without checking in te campaign editor first. The specialisations being carried o...

Re: CSI Sweep: Extra!

I hope someone pays you overtime for the Extra editions... I have not checked every scenario in your list, but I got a general concern. I usually use 'scenario end turn' conditions for rewarding sec objs. As far as I know this is the only way to check if for instance units have survived etc. What do...

Erik,

In Salerno to Rome, the Canadians start with 9 land command points. Is this intentional?
I think not...This may be a left-over from an earlier version.

Re: [Gameplay Bug] SinoJap War Bug [New]

You can help the AI if you use faction mines.
The AI units may then move across its own minefields like they had minefield maps.
Could be used for AI defense scenarios.

Aha, quite subtle those markings. The Germans need to get up and close to see what they are fighting.

Re: I have discovered WASD!

I have had one electric band for years which I write songs for. We play every Monday afternoon in an old basement studio (complete with a beer fridge) at the broadcaster which I work for.
I also play some accoustic stuff with a few co-workers.
Occasionally I try to get some sleep.

Re: Sluggish AI

I'm working on a new campaign and just tested the opening turn in a scenario. There are about 180 units in 17 AI teams and one of the team has currently 60 (!) units assigned with a Search & Destroy order. There are 12 location objectives on the map, so plenty of moves to consider. I was expecting l...

Re: I have discovered WASD!

I'm left-handed and use the two-button option in OOB, I have turned off mouse map-scroll and use the arrow keys with my right hand to move around the map. At work I use my right-hand for the mouse to even out any mouse-inflicted pain. It doesn't take long to train your 'wrong' hand. I play the piano...

Anyone know how these relate to OOB's KV-1 names?

Re: To buy or not to buy a core

If you do bring your core to the next campaign I'm pretty sure you can then sell these units on the slave market  I think that generally, playing a campaign will be more difficult starting with a fresh core. You're not doing anything 'wrong' of course. It is the beauty of this game that we can...

Re: Haako's Scenarios

You could also use the random trigger to have the ships deploy at 3 (or more) locations.
I used this regularly for carrier groups and subs in my US naval campaign. Well worth the extra work.
