Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios

There are already some significant changes in the latest Olympic (not the one we tested). Mainly kamikazes and Japanese core land units.
I plan to add a primary obj up north for the second US invasion.

You guys think I should release Battle of the Mareth Line as a standalone scenario? I've got a feeling about it that it's special enough to deserve such treatment.
How about releasing it as a 2v2 multiplayer?

Re: Best Japanese campaign mods?

You are looking for a mod to play the official Japanese campaign? GabeKnight has a mod that should work well for all campaigns. But I don't think he has gotten round to update it after 9.0 was published. But that shouldn't matter with the old Japanese campaign. http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewto...

Transports cost 1 command point in addition to the resource opints, maybe you've already used up all CPs?

Re: Free France Campaign

I'm about half way through Keren-to-Massawa. The scenario generally works fine, but I think excessive minefields like this (south of Mensheb) is really not neccessary and will only frustrate a player. Especially since the very difficult terrain makes it impossible to rush the engineers to the front....

Re: Air Combat Info

Bombers will push aside fighters hovering over the target. I think this is correct, otherwise you could always protect a target from being attacked. It is standard practice (I think for the AI as well) to bomb, then move your bomber to a nearby location making room for the next air unit. Not being a...

Kufra:
Refreshing nice medium-sized scenario on the easy side.
Maj vic at turn 32/48.

Col Bagnold is represented by a Chevrolet WB, which means he can't be 'repaired'. Leclerc is in a Panhard, repairable. Intended? Maybe switch the British recon types?

Re: How do I get a serial number.

The base game is free.
You only need a serial number for installing purchased DLCs.

Go into My Page, you'll find downloads there.

Re: Free France Campaign

Played the first two scenarios. Excellent work although they are both quite large for being the first in the campaign. The are also on the difficult side. Dakar: A curious happening. The surrendered Richelieu fired at a Free French unit leaving the port (trying to move through the battleship). Gabon...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Naval dudes, thanks for the feedback.
The Allied AI is less aggressive compared to the Japanese AI. The 50 vs 75 aggro levels are intended. I think it helps to simulate the differences between the way the factions waged war.

Re: Erik's campaigns

Just to make it clear, I will fix any missing air exits/deployment hexes if players point to specific scenarios and I agree that air units/exits is no proportional.
I think have a good track record in fixing issues so far

Re: Erik's campaigns

Desert Rats campaign, Girba. I give in. How on earth can you win this? Any suggestions? I have 2 25prds, 1 vicker, 1 Cruiser 1, 3 infantry. Note enough points for the A/Cs. I'm not even advancing like I tend to and still get swamped by Italian light tanks. I even destroy most before turn 6 order ch...
