Re: Easy mode?
You are not alone. I am proving to be very incompetent at this game. I swallowed my pride, bumped the difficulty down to easy and i am still getting stomped.

Re: My feedback after some hours of play
After a weekend of play, I am having infinitely more frustration than fun. I failed so often I started a new game on easy, and am still not doing well. Resources are too scarce and going against units that are superior in numbers and quality over and over is no fun. I'm happy I just purchased the ba...

Re: Panzer Corps Priorities - Your Opinions
Thanks for asking. I'm pretty pleased with the game already, but---- Two in particular that would make me happy and I do not think they would be too hard. In the scenarios that contain minor nations, it would be awesome to be able to add those to your core. In the original SSI games I had a fun time...

Re: Allow Free French, Polish, and Anzac Units
I agree. I suggested this a while ago also. I had a lot of fun playing with a few other nation's units in my core.

Re: What music do you listen while playing?
I listen to baseball on the radio while playing any chance I get. When it isn't baseball season, it is generally pretty quiet.

Re: "UNDO" button, too softcore ?
Seriously, I just purchased the game tonight. I have it on a laptop using a stupid celeron processor. (I had little idea this game would need so much power since panzer core worked awesome). It takes a full 2 seconds from the time I hit the button till the action. Sometimes I'm unsure if the action ...

I have not tried it myself, but I wonder how it works in Wine. It might work OK.

Re: Determining how hard a scenario is?
While I'm here I read you can add heroes to units in the editor like the DLCs, but I'm not finding a button that does that. How is that done? Thanks for the help and the advice. I have an idea and I am trying it out. It is pretty small and easy to begin with. I will add more strings and conditions a...

Secondly, what is generally considered good prestige per turn for early war scenarios?

Determining how hard a scenario is?
I've decided to try my hand at scenario design (perhaps campaign design if I feel ambitious enough). I've read the editor manual and I have browsed the forum. I think I have a fair idea of what I'll be doing. I'm looking for something about medium difficulty. I've played enough I think I can eyeball...

That sounds fun. I'm going to have to get myself one the next time around. As for the mechanics, I know little.

Re: What's the point of artillery with range of 1?
Sorry to come in late on this thread. I had nothing to add until now.
I was playing with my stugs and suddenly remembered that many of the range 1 artys have bunker busting qualities. Yet another reason to love them.

Re: My guilty cheating pleasure
The reform units cheat must be done once per scenario. This may disturb some of the more advanced players. I really only wanted to keep the conscripts alive and kicking. When I disbanded my reserve list of 0 strength units I discovered that I got prestige for disbanding those 0 strength units. That ...

Re: My guilty cheating pleasure
When I was learning Panzer General I played through the game several times with weather, supply, and fog of war off. I finally got a good feeling of the game and figured out what I could do and what my opponent could do. I did the same with Pacific General when it was released. By the time Panzer Co...

Re: Core force for DLCs
Thanks for reminding me of this thread. You are right. It is fun. This is at the start of '45 West. The entire West campaign is at FM with an imported core. I consistently have 2 cheats going. Core 2n and Reform units. This is only to keep my conscripts active and alive, just because I find it hilar...

Re: Suggestions for game improvement in the future.
I'm very happy with the game. I have only one suggestion and I'm not sure if it has been made before or not.
I would love a save button in between scenarios. Sometime during the briefing would be cool.
The addition of a naval core in the future would be pretty cool too.

Red shirts! I love that idea. A little comic relief within a serious game.
