Yep...aggression did the trick for any interested

edit -- nope...seems hit and miss (excuse the pun). Not sure why? Some mortars just sit and wait...some seem active.

AI Mortars

It seems that enemy AI mortars don't fire until they are discovered...is there a way to get them to fire more readily?

Perhaps group them and give them a high aggression rating? Please let me know what I am missing here...sure takes the punch out of them otherwise.

Oh?! I'm just using the editor to assign slots for carryover units...so I'm not even sure where that unit will appear. Seems trickier than I thought....might have to forgo aesthetics.

Carryover Skins

I'm making a 1941 scenario and have a StuGb that I have skinned from that time (Wehrmacht Grey)...but when the unit is a carryover to the next scenario, it appears in the default colour...how do I keep the originally set colour?

My version doesn't seem to work properly (no score, flags don't register as taken until the next turn...all kinds of oddities).

On the plus side, I've been tweaking it for a Sealion version (still in playtesting).

Ok, I'm sure I've asked this before but can't find the info on it now...and it seems so simple but I can't figure it out. When I start a new scenario in the editor, I get the desert base map...I want the normandy green base map. I'm sure I don't have to fill in all of those tiles...but can't seem to...

Good point. Though you're right, there seems to be an awful lot of missing strings...I thought they would be in the normal campaign text but they weren't there either (hoping to copy and paste)...so I'm not sure where they are? Thanks anyway Pip

Ahhh...ok, I do have debug enabled...it doesn't seem to affect play but is a little annoying having to hit ok for each missing string (there are a lot of them!). I'll turn off debugging then.

My version (or perhaps my opponents version) seems to be corrupt. I played the first turn ok, then got the mismatched script warning for the second and now, on the third turn, I can't even load it...I get scripting errors and have to escape to get out. Unfortunately, yes. I'm guessing the Soviet FM has been executed by Stalin.

Just an update...my game with MacD is still in progress (albeit slowly) and is still up in the air. Hope to conclude it soon just to have some completion to this tournament. Want also to thank everyone for playing. I think, by and large, it worked out well and a mix and match of players worked fine....

cavehobbit and I are still going. I was sick for a bit last week and it slowed us down. But were doing a turn or two a day for the most part.
