Re: Summary: What kind of new units do you like to see?
Many good suggestion in here guys! Polezi, volksgrenadier's, skijägers (that move longer in snow for ex) mortars as some already mentiond as indivudal units would be fun too. Maybe some kind of HQ unit as well among other things.

Re: DLC 44 Grand Campaign East arrives
I was under the impression that strategy would be the the main thing in a....well strategy game and not only have all elite tanks etc on the board. Probably idiotic of me it seems  Why complain about that at all, you can still choose to have that kind of core. Adding the choice/strategy of d...

Re: DLC 44 Grand Campaign East arrives
The game already gives you the freedom of choice to build your core any way that you want to. If you want to use older equipment, nothing in the game is stopping you from doing that.
In all honesty Z, i think you miss the point (or dont want to see it perhaps?), To balance a fixed c...

Re: DLC 44 Grand Campaign East arrives
Interesting read in this thread (for the most part) and the more I think about it the more I see myself agreeing with both boredatwork and Deducter on opinions on change of balance. Why on earth should everybody buy the best just becouse thats the only optimal strategy ? I thought this was/is a stra...

Re: almost little things punches me hard in the stomache
Well believe it or not, significant game play decisions, especially changes to a specifically designed system are not taken lightly or even under the control of a single individual either. There has to be a pretty strong consensus on such matters, not just among the public community but also among ...

Re: 2D NATO symbols or icons?
Personally I like the game graphs as it is and have absolutley no need for any nato rubbish in Pz C. For a big strategy game on corps/army lvl it would be ok but not here, and I kind of like to see the models of the different tanks infantry, StuG's etc. Each to his own but this is my opinion and a s...

Re: almost little things punches me hard in the stomache
I definetly agree with you that there is no point at all in buying/using a pionere over PzG (panzer Grenadiers) or fallschirmsjägers at all. Well maybe for rpg reasons but thats it. I noticed this after only a short time spent with the game. Pioneres should've 1 or two traits going for them compare...

Re: almost little things punches me hard in the stomache
I remember reading in the post about core forces that many players use pionieres exclusively in their cores. It seems players either love them or hate them. I still use mine just for sentimental reasons. I loved them in PG1 and I still like the fact that you negate entrenchment which isn't complete...

Re: almost little things punches me hard in the stomache
The defense values of Pioniere should definitely be increased. Currently their "ignore entrenchment" feat is useless because if they attack an entrenched but unsupressed infantry they will suffer tremendous losses. Paratroopers and Grenadiers ar better in every way so it makes no sense to...

Re: Stalingrad question.
Just out of curiosity, do most people upgrade to heavier/best type of equipment or do most go for the best equipment for the job in general (if one can afford it of course) ? Personally I try to have a big pletora of different Pz's , infantry, artillery and so on and not only go for the best brutes ...

Re: DLC 1942 got just released - but what is DLC 1943 EAST
i think they will probably make you play citadel and then go to italy to defend gustav line What makes you think that ? That would be bummer, if there were a whole GC that you could choose your places to fight like somebody suggested in the thread I be all for it. Have a feeling the progress is mor...

Joining the ever growing choir on the subject. It didnt bug me so much in the begining but the more I play the more irritating it gets so yes we want some sort of control over this.

Re: Suggestions
For the very late war Volksturm is a good suggestion imo. But a little before that how about Volkgrenadiers and sturmpionere too ? After all the pionere in this game need a upgrade way/path (specialize pio and sturmpio in different ways) to keep them more interesting. Maybe higher initiative as a ba...

Not to sure it would work out all that well in a game like this really. You can as sugested leave it as an option, but then again you can choose not to use elite replacement button and achive the very same thing imo. So might sound good/fun but in reality might just end up that people dont use their...

I do agree with Eisenkopf about the map size. In a way PzC loses out on the strategic level becouse of this (wich is an element I love). Sure it can differ somewhat how you deploy but not all that much wich is a shame. Bigger maps allow for different playthroughs and for me personally great replayab...

1 a month? perfect and thanks. However I truly would love extended special dlc's or expansions that takes a different approach compared to the format as it is now. For ex a dlc of just the Narva/baltic battle of 44-45 with several maps of different locations of Narva, Praga (the great tank battle ou...
