In the old Panzer general series, the Axis could go all the way to invading the USA. In OoB, winning a scenario has no bearing on advancing the fight against history. Just a thought.

Just purchased the game. When asked for serial number to activate it game says it is invalid. I did cut and paste and also typed it in. Do I need to update something first? Sacrifice a squirrel or toad?

I just purchased Red Steel and Winter War (thank you D-Day!). Winter War installed fine. Red Steel v,8.4.1 downloaded ok but when installing it says to update to v.8.4.1 and sends me to the website.

Your thoughts, well wishes, redeeming ideas?

Well, if you dont get it perfectly right with the paradrops, this takes a lot longer. If you do it right, you dont need all these turns. But this is mostly about giving less experienced players a chance to finish this. Yep. I did a test once to "simulate" an inexperienced player ( :wink: ...

Isn't that one of those inflatable tank units used to confuse the enemy spies. 4 points is a bit steep for an air filled unit.

And then if you add in Combat Mission's turn format it will be a game even the gods would play. Nothing like blundering into another person's blunder.

Or High Command changed their MOS from infantry to Medic.
Or ..... the AI is making them into vulnerable targets, just like will happen to us when Apple rules the world ....

It has happened to me a few times, usually 4-5 scenarios into a campaign in the Pacific game. Happens on either side. Very frustrating.
