Re: mughal

Well, I'd personally pay 15 Euro for an expansion that would include southeast Asian armies and 20 Euro if it included both southeast Asia and India. I have a soft spot for Shan, Ayutthaya and the Portugese Malacca colony in the 16th century and have been fascinated by the history of the region.

Re: is this game worse than pike and shot?

In Steam the reviews of this game is worse than those of Pike and Shot. Is this game not as good as Pike and Shot or what is wrong since it's rated lower? It is the newest game and should have some advantage over Pike and Shot. I am looking at this one or Pike and Shot, but in fact I'm most interes...

Re: Uncle Sam wants YOU to join the beta!

I was in contact with Johan Nagel about this game before, but it seems Nagel's email address he used to contact me is no longer valid and I couldn';t send him emails. As a result, I've sent an PM to Tamas about it. Let me know if you need anything more from my end.

AI.class hotfix?

I heard that the AI.class bugs have been resolved in 3.2

I'm not askign for a full 3.2 release, but could you guys possibly release just the AI.class file as hotfix for the current 3.1 bugs?

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW

Seeems interesting, especially the events.

Please let me know in case you find a way to change the "original hex owner" parameter. I could use that a lot.

Re: Update news on CTGW patch and more

Thanks for doing this. Are the map files gonna be editable? Sorry to chase this, but are there any news on this issue? No problem at all, sorry to keep you waiting with the answer. It is difficult thing tho, the editor in it's current state is -let's call it- "less than stellar" and while original ...

Directories changing?

The game seems to automaticlaly create the SaveGames and Scenarios directories on a different drive than the game was installed at. This seems to interfere with scenario loading.

How do I manually change the directories in question?

Its non-steam.

Re: "All this madness" - now is 0.99 version!

If there's no news on map files availability, I'm gonna release a downscaled 1.0 version (without additional faction functionality as a necessary result).

Re: "All this madness" - new 0.91 mod version available!

Cool !! When can we expect to be able to enjoy your marvel? My pals and I were nearly resigned to have to play Vanilla ( which we don't really want to anymore) The new 0.92 version will be out soon and I will do a new version with 1915, 1916, 1917 and 1918 scenarios when I have some RL time for it....

Re: "All this madness" - new 0.91 mod version available!

Yep. It sure is dead. What a pity. Nope its not, was waiting for the devs to fix the naval crash bug. I saw that there's a new version and the bug should be gone, so I'll update the mod to the new version. Though keep in mind if there's still no way to change "original hex owner" then the more abit...

Re: "All this madness" - new 0.91 mod version available!

Thanks for the quick help Robo!

Admittedly there's still some small bugs left in (Example: "Tsar Takes command" seems to fire regardless of Russian morale, Senussi have an issue also, all will be fixed), but I was at least hoping I did not introduce new crash bugs aside of the vanilla ones.

Re: "All this madness" - new 0.91 mod version available!

Can you post the ctw.log file or its contents after the crash? Its in the folder with the savegame folder Ishould be somethiong like: C:\Documents and Settings\MyDocs\My Documents\My Games\Commander The Great War\ctw.log Just make a search for the ctw.log file on your drive, launch the game, have it...

Sure, will see what's wrong. Can you please upload the ctw.log file after the crash? Alternatively, can you copy&paste the contents of the log? This will help me to see what's up./ Which scenario are you trying to load? Keep in mind so far only 1914 has been tested. I'll make versions for other scen...

Re: "All this madness" - new 0.91 mod version available!

I also have a problem with leaders. Hindenburg goes systematically to the Western Front - where Moltke is still supposed to be in command - and Falkenhayn appears as a "front commander" in 1914 (if I'm not mistaken), when historically he replaced Moltke as commander -in-chief. There's a lot of conf...
