Re: World team Championship (WTC)

Hi Fuser123 Welcome. Yes an Asian team would be the answer. In the players location thread there are Alsagoz / Chiang Mai, Thailand, Mysteron / SE Asia (moving around), jomni / Singapore, Rodymetal / Dubai, UAE We could also have a Rest of the World team as well. Cheers Eric You can move me and Aet...

Re: There Can Be Only One II! - Round 3!

I would say the slaves probably benefited from favorable terrain and superior numbers which could lead to more flanking opportunities. In my game, I worked to initially minimize match ups vs legionaries, focusing on dog piling auxiliaries, lights and cavalry with my swarms. Late exposure of some of ...

Re: How to adjudicate tournament games?

If you go with 3 players from the tourney, you could be one and have each involved player nominate one from the other players participating in the tourney.

Re: How to adjudicate tournament games?

Without support from Slitherine, I'm not sure how easy it would be to verify time elapsed per player per turn. I think a more realistic option would be to ask each player to submit a screen shot on the turn when the match is deemed timed out and a summary of their view of the situation and any relev...

Re: Field of Glory II: “Rome against the World” - Tournament

I would like to see some sort of chess clock option, preferably player configurable, added to assist in dealing with tourney matches - or just for those who might like the time pressure element added.

Re: Round 3: Engagements

Battles to be concluded during a three-week period. Any questions that you have on FP calculations, etc., just ask them here. Enjoy! It's now been 7 weeks since the battles were announced. While I personally feel 3 weeks may be optimistic, we've had more than twice that allowed for this round. Karvon

As I posted earlier, there is not going to be a Japan team, so please move me to the US list.

Thanks

Re: There Can Be Only One II! - Round 2!

Karvon (Slave Revolt) defeated GeneralKostas (Romans) 40-7 We chose to fight the Romans in the hills and found a rather favorable field to face our former masters. On our left, a pair of steep hills, one on our baseline and the other just short of the center, looked down on lower slopes well broken ...
