Re: Grand Campaign West questions
1/ In GC42/43 West first scenario St Nazaire you can deploy 9 units from your previous GC 41 Core, plus any SE units you have. You can verify this by selecting start a grand campaign and pick 42/43 west. 2/ Any units you select keep all of its heroes including special heroes. 3/ Starting from GC 39 ...

Re: The Grandest Campaigner achievement?
I have all the achievements on Steam. When the game was first ported to Steam, after being only available through Slitherine some MP achievements were broken. Later they were removed. I have 80 of the 80 achievements for Pz Gold. Using cheat codes void achievements for this campaign. You can check i...

Re: panzer corps scuttle ship achievement
Here's a video showing how to scuttle a ship in 1941 Crete airborne.
The event happen on turn 4 on the very east port of the map.
NB: As I already unlocked the achievement in a previous run through, the pop up doesn't appear

I did it in Grand Campaign 1941 Crete Airborne.
From memory by attracting ship in the port on the very right of the map.

Re: Grand Campaign East -Ultimate Difficulty - Chess Mode
I just realized that the first video I uploaded was not in Chess Mode but with the RNG instead. hence some minor inconsistencies between the core units in my first two scenarios I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience. I uploaded the correct Poznan video in Chess mode. Actually this is a case where...

Re: Grand Campaign East -Ultimate Difficulty - Chess Mode
The main issue with chess mode is imho that some units can't damage other ones at all, instead of having a very small chance just below the 1 casualty threshold. Absolutely. This is even more painful in Ultimate, with 5 turns less (and stronger units). Typical examples are early in the war few enem...

Grand Campaign East -Ultimate Difficulty - Chess Mode
In this series of video I take a deep look at Panzer Corps Gold – Grand Campaign East, in Ultimate difficulty and Chess mode combat. Foreword: I strongly suggest you play the campaign several times on your own on lower difficulties before following this walk through. If you are new to the game, chec...

Thanks for the answer.
I was actually asking as the human player playing regular scenarios. For the cases, where you setup but the AI attack first.

Re: Army composition to aim for going into GC 44 & 45 East?
I said Wurfrahmen can completely suppress most soft targets . And in my initial post I mentioned, I kept some Mrs.18 and He.177 for suppressing heavy targets. I don't suffer much air attack on my artillery, because I protect them with fighters or Flak. Indeed 20% soft cap bring less pp from surrende...

Re: Army composition to aim for going into GC 44 & 45 East?
I do play in Manstein with vintage settings, soft cap, RNG, no mod or cheat code. Usually I don't overstrength front-line units to the max. Up until late 44 Tiger.II of strength 12-13 are good enough. In contrast I push my artillery to the max as anyway I don't plan to take damage on support units. ...

Re: DV at Kremenchug worth it?
You can have a DV in each scenario of GC East even on higher difficulties like Manstein and Guderian. I mean without taking excessive losses. A cordon of weak units can defend the coast on the west. Preventing landing is a valid option. However I find it more efficient to let a 1 or 2 soviet units l...

Re: Mogilev on Manstein
I do deploy forward. However I deploy 3 Flak (2 Flak.36 and the captured Flak.40, the SPAA are too weak in Manstein) forward to protect my units in the city. A frontline of Tiger.II, then I rush artillery behind. to start attacking right away The auxiliary Me.163 is usually badly damaged right on tu...

Re: Army composition to aim for going into GC 44 & 45 East?
Having played GC East on Manstein, Rommel and Guderian difficulties, getting only DV ofcourse. First point, is your force composition also reflect your play style. Each player as his own preferences and favorite tactics. My general approach is to take only attacks that yields zero, or 1 loss predict...

Setup switchable units in alternate mode.
Is there a way to setup a Flak.36 in AT mode instead of the default AA mode.
I mean during setup before the scenario start.

Re: Panzer Corps Records tool?
Thanks for the feedback. Actually I manage to capture PzC video if I set the PzC Game in window mode, unfortunately this give a white border and annoying white screen flash when I click end turn or enter the purchase screen. So the good news is that my hardware is good enough. For this to work I sel...

Re: Panzer Corps Records tool?
Thanks all for your help. I have read and watched OBS tutorial too. I'm not completely lost with OBS as I can record other games. Unfortunately I cannot get a decent result with PzC. I do get the record of the PzC screen but movement overlays are laggy and out of sync. And sometime the mouse cursor ...

Panzer Corps Records tool?
Can anyone suggest free app to record Panzer Corps game for YouTube.
I have tried Fraps, but it doesn't seem to find the PzC Screen.
I also tried OBS, a bit tricky to configure, and the result is only partially good.

Re: Panzer Corps 2 - Dev Diary #3
The screenshot doesn't bode well. The problem with highly detailled graphics, is that it is ver y obvious that the units scale doesn't match at all with the background terrain. It really destroys the immersion for me. Units facing in every direction make the situation harder to read. This is how 3D ...

Re: Wargamer PzC 2 first screenshots
From the screenshot I see so few units on the screen, it doesn't bode so well for a "strategy game".
I think my initial fear is becoming true, too much effort on the visual instead of the gameplay.
