Re: Lost another **@!! plane to low fuel

... once you've achieved the abjectives early and are just playing out the turns, it gets boring to sit there and cycle through large numbers of unmoved units then end turn and wait for the AI to calculate just so you cylce through endless units and end turn and wait... then it is very easy to miss...

Re: What game would you like to see next?

I voted for Russian campaign. I find it so much more interesting than Allied because of the greater differences between armies. And I love Russian determination to stop Germans at any cost and how they developed their not so great production into a thundering war machine that finally suffocated Germ...

Re: Proposal: durability

I can't help but have a bit of an issue with the reason for nerfing heavy tanks. I am fine with if it just comes from the balancing perspective. But if you are trying to make them weaker because in real life they suffered from failures then consider this: By the time those heavy German tanks hit the...

Re: World of Tanks

how i spent so much money? It depends on how much you play and how many tanks you want to level up. I did play a lot, 3-4 hours every day. I bought expereince for the crew, had a premium account, two tier 9 tanks, 2 tier 8 artilerries and used special ammo only in 3-4 clan battles a day and almost n...

Re: Proposal: durability

I would see the "reliability" attribute translate like something into random suppression points (1 or 2 points at the maximum, not to overdo it) every time a battle is resolved. Building up on that idea: Heavy tanks could just take less shots (make less rolls) when attacking, like heavy a...

Re: World of Tanks

I played WoT extensively. It is quite addictive and fun... at first. It looks and plays great, lots of strategy and teamwork involved. Once you get good at it and level up your tanks (you unlock other tanks by leveling up your current ones) you realize that your average random team just doesn't cut ...

Sorry if I sounded a little too harsh, didn't mean to.
And you are right, in my book a good gaming experience always trumples historical accuracy.

Turkey strategy

Turkey strategy - against AI only of course, you can't trust those humans. I played CP 3 times on all difficulties and I think I came up with optimal strategy. The SW border with English seems pretty standard no matter what: You gotta not let Brits through the narrow area and put 3 infantries on the...

Re: City production

It's fine the way it is. If newly captured cities grant you more PPs faster that would let you build an ever increasing army as you keep conquering - thus unbalancing the game. And I believe it would make the game way too easy after you make a couple initial conquests. Currently fighers don't defend...

Re: Another gamey exploit is . . .

Yes, but this isn't reality, is it? It's just a numbers game and with some rules and limitations based on WW1. And even if a squadron of byplanes would never be able to hold a city against infantry in real life it totally makes sense for the game.

Re: Vom Auflösung: Scrap both CP Battle Fleets!

realism argument for ship disbanding: Before WW1 the countries considered the might of the nation is determined by the number of battleships because… no I am not going into details, you all know this I am sure. During the war, a number of battleships was sunk and none by another battleship. So, woul...

can i download the official manual somewhere?

I know the manual is included with the game. But I am away from my comp right now and would like to read the manual and can't find a link to download just the PDF manual anywhere.

Re: Next Patch Wishes

I would like a note pad for yourself in MP games. You are able to send messages to your enemy in MP games. So, I would like a similar feature but only for myself, so I could leave notes for myself. I play many MP games at once, as I am sure everyone does, and sometimes 2 days later after having been...

Re: MP game settings

Settings aren't explicitly stated anywhere once the MP game has started. You will of course notice the settings via playing, for example if "undo" movement is not selected you won't be able to undo moves. Only it is impossible to see if any handicaps are on. You do see all the setting when...

I set up 2 more challenges and 2 different people accepted them and we played a couple of turns already.

so far I am playing 3 maps set up by me and they seem to work OK:
sea lion
stalingrad
urban warfare

Re: Pause Enemy Turn

Yes, it would be great to have a button to replay enemy's turn. I would suggest a stereo type controls (< << [] >> >) so that once you go into the "replay enemy's turn mode" you can let it play as usual OR have each move enemy makes played only when you click a button so you could view bat...

Re: Can't set up MP games

I have the same issue too: I have no mods at all and updated to the latest patch. When I try to set up a challenge using any of the official scenarious I get: equipment.pzeqp has been modified and that if I do create a challenge it will be flagged as user modified. I am able to actually create a cha...
