Usually you would use one ADC model to represent each command point. Even this is not vital though, many players use counters. Personally I like ADC models. Depending on how many command points you think your army is likely to have I would probably paint/base 7-9.

Blathergut is right, it is only free when outside of 6". You get three dice and pay a PIP inside 6"

Re: Cancon FOG N Tournament - Canberra, Jan 26-28 2018
I've paid/registered.
I think this will be my first comp with a reformed army. Now that initiative doesn't matter I think it may be time to break out the Swedes.

Re: List Changes
Just sad that the change are making them, relatively, even worse.
Oh well I suppose the wait for a rules system/set of lists for ancients/renaissance where there is a reason for Inca to take the table will continue. It has been many a year....

Re: List Changes
Quite possibly.
The range the LI get to fire their sling at is not, however, the primary issue. It's the main Inca infantry been the red-headed step children of the Americas that is the problem.

Re: List Changes
Sling for Inca?
Sling is even less effective than before and "Colonies and Conquest" is now packed with armies with free Bw* or Javelin.

I believe that they get to move as reformed but still shoot as unreformed (ie the opposite of brits)

Re: News
Glad to hear the average vs superior thing has got a bit of a touch up. Has anything been done for poor non-skirmishers (points or otherwise)?

Re: News
I take it from playing about with the army builder there has there been a change of points values for some troop types? If you download the excel list builder mentioned earlier you can see the points changes. Don't know if I want to return to FOG from ADLG but will definitely give it a good look/tr...

Re: Unreformed Inf Point less?
Unreformed drilled dropped from 8pts to 7pts? Yep, and still probably not the strongest option -rifle skirmishers no different from musket skirmishers except for commander potential kills? Also yes. Small effect, small cost. To be frank we probably dont really need to represent rifles as different ...

Re: Emperors & Eagles Army List
You are only allowed a single unit of artillery (whether small or large). The number of attachments you are permitted is unchanged (usually either one or two a division). The example you give is fine but the maximum of 8 guns no longer has any impact on the number of attachments available.

Re: 4th Victorian FOG N Championships
Perhaps some list tweaking could do away with average drilled guard? Arguably if you can't crack either superior or veteran you aren't good enough to rate guard (and I say this as the owner of a Swedish army)

Re: 2017 Victorian FoGN Napoleonics Tournament Report
Always enjoy reading your reports. I'm not sure you strengthen your point about guard being fine by bringing the only all guard army and decisively smashing everyone you played! I accept that you may have been a little fortunate to have fought all unreformed and cavalry armies but still think it may...

Re: 4th Victorian FOG N Championships
- They can now move 6MU (when outside of 6Mu of enemy). This is huge. It removes what I believe to be the single biggest disadvantage of unreformed under v1 - they seldom got to use their additional numbers because they couldn't move fast enough to bring them to bare before being broken by a concen...

Re: 4th Victorian FOG N Championships
Do the results leave you concerned we may still have a bit of a guard problem? Or at least an army that can have lots of cheap guard problem? Even before the comp, Brett and I were discussing probably dropping the reroll for Guard in combat. They're good enough without it. So yes, Guard are probabl...

Once you factor in the points changes I don't think unreformed are any worse then before but probably no better either. You would not seem to be doing your ch...

Re: V2 Turks
I don't know, I've had a bit of a dig around and getting info on the make up of Turkish armies is pretty hard. It's hard to see their traditional "dig in and wait" approach being something you would do unless you had a fair bit of artillery. Given some of the original lists have up to 12 g...
