Astronauts number

Hi, the game gets better and better which is nice and offer quite an amount of possibilities... however while SET and flight controllers are absolutely necessary (to have a lot of them) for a smooth campaign the astronaut corps is pretty useless. If none of them dies at the mission 7 astronaut is al...

Re: Failures on a mission step

Such a system seems fine... if i understood correctly the final version would provide me a result after a failure step. Let's take the example of orbital insertion - success (straigthforward, go to the next mission step spaceship is in orbit) - minor glitch (go to the next step, like it was a succes...

Re: Space Stations?

Nice... Part two can be the most interesting part of the game (at least I hope that somehow I had to fight againt the decline of interest in space related stuff and the budget reductions and still produce result). :)

Failures on a mission step

As far as I remember in the old BARIS there were occasions when failure in a mission step meant that the original mission have to be reduced (e.g. failed orbital insertion meant that the mission reduced to a suborbital flight... where something else might still happen). As of now once a mission step...

Space Stations?

Probably a stupid question Are space stations meant to be included in the first part of the game? Salyut and Skylab are well within the era of the Race for the Moon. And there was even more on the drawing boards. A nice space station related mission tree (maybe with the proposed wet workshop Venus f...

Re: Wishlist for future features in updates, DLC, part 2-3,

After playing BARIS again for comparison, I still think that the lack of custom mission design is the problem I felt with the game atmosphere. In BARIS, it was up to me if, say, Apollo IV would be an unmanned orbital flight or maybe a manned orbital EVA duration; it was up to me which rocket to use...

Re: BARIS features you'd like to see

What I would like to have is some meaningful decisions... in the original BARIS there were some options and these options affected the gameplay, like - should I choose the spaceplane... then lag behind in the early stages, but gain money by the reuseability? - is it worth trying the direct ascent an...
