Nice write-up though I disagree with several of your cons. - A tech tree can never be too long. I found this a little awkwardly explained as well. It seems to be though that farms and mines stack with whatever terrain is underneath (so a farm gives +1 food to the tile, a mine +1 minerals) but planting forests effectively creates a whole new tile. There's no option to install through steam at the moment so you're good. It's just like the good old days of boxed games, long codes written on bits of cardboard and manuals. Oh man, manuals!
