Re: [SPOILER] US Corps capturables

There aren't many in US Corps, but those I know of are listed on the first sheet of the Excel file I've listed numerous times before (you can sort by campaign).

If you still need help, post again.

Re: Elite US Paras in Panzer Corps US Corps

Actually, I just did a quick look at the spreadsheet I posted a while back, and Pete referred to in his post, which contains the original equipment file. See below.

Re: Elite US Paras in Panzer Corps US Corps

It's because the SE Airborne is available on the same date in 1941 as the regular Airborne unit and is a slightly better (+1 HA) version. The upgraded regular US Airborne 43 version becomes available on 1/1/43 but there is no comparable upgrade to a '43 version for the SE Airborne, hence it stays a ...

That's true as long as you use the game generated core and don't import your own from earlier.

Of course, if you really want to use it, you could simple delete the '0' from the equipment file.

Re: sIG 33 II (Sf) - GC 1942?

It isn't a typo or bug, the availability date is correct. However, if you look in the 'Theatre' column you will see a '0' which means it is only available in the African Theatre and so you can only purchase it after that date if you are playing Afrika Korps. It is not available in the vanilla or gra...

Re: Vanilla Campaign Army Size per Scenerio

Yep, version VIIIc was the last version I did. Apparently, nobody found anything new as far as items to add (heroes, etc.) or mistakes, so I haven't updated it since.

P.S. Nice of you to keep bringing it to people's attention, Pete. Thanks.

Re: Are GC East 44 & 45 includeded in GC 39-45?

Yes it is, they should both be listed with the other 8 campaigns included in GC 39-45 package. They should be found in the folder marked 'Classified' on the right side of the screen you reach after you click 'New Game' on the main screen and where you select which campaign to play. If you have purch...

Re: Soviet Corps.

I haven't played it all, but just received a third SE (KV-1C) unit at the beginning of Korsun-Cherkassy Pocket. I've got one about every 5 missions or so (the Pocket is the 16th). The others were before Smolensk (T-34/40) and 2nd Kharkov (mountain infantry). However, I disbanded the infantry as a 0 ...

See the second worksheet of the attached spreadsheet. If you don't have a means of opening/using Excel files, let me know and I can put it in another format for you.

Look on old-games.com or panzergeneraldownload.com to find both and the other SSI games. I enjoyed People's General once upon a time.

Re: SUPER GREAT NEWS I AM ON YOUTUBE

I think your addiction is worse than you're willing to admit. Given you got the game in December 2014, your hours per week is more like 16.5 rather than 12 (doing the math as you suggest). Of course this is only time spent playing and doesn't include the time required for your 1.56 posts/day, readin...

Re: SUPER GREAT NEWS I AM ON YOUTUBE

Again, I'm sorry for your pain, but am relieved to see your difficulty (although I haven't watched any videos recently, I'm just going by posts) as it shows I'm not totally incompetent and again, I note, that there are few out there that have shown any US Corps results. Obviously, there is a reason ...

All except Sealion, which I'll do later, if I ever finish. It's enjoyable but also a slog.

Re: DLC: Captured Units

Nope, there are a lot I haven't gotten to, mostly because I was stupid/careless/impatient when I started with the game, feeling I needed to finish each scenario as quickly as possible (partly due to the vanilla game turn constraints) learned to play better so I started over, and then the same thing ...

Re: DLC: Captured Units

I haven't played that far so I wasn't aware of it. It is odd that there is no mention of it being given to you as part of your core and also carrying over to future missions, but apparently, it does so. However, given that it has no attack capabilities, the AI's penchant for attacking recon units, a...

Re: SUPER GREAT NEWS I AM ON YOUTUBE

So in case you only want to play it once, my suggestion is to stay very close to your artillery wherever you go… ah and Schwerpunkt seems to become more and more important as well, trying to advance everywhere at the same time just gets you into unnecessary trouble…

And this is blind, how???

Re: DLC: Captured Units

A couple of other small errata I noticed:

Row 95 about Kiev of the vanilla campaign has the wrong color fill (it is the same as GCEast campaigns), should be lighter
Row 171 Tunisian Bridgehead: it's campaign is listed as AK but should be AFC instead.
