Re: Soviet Corps - Battle of Budapest; where is the officer in charge
Near as I can tell, he doesn't exist as he doesn't show in the editor and nobody else seems to be able to find him either. Maybe he's a ruse (or a mistake) to get you to send your troops into the sewer. You get 4000 prestige no matter your result anyway. Maybe someone will find him someday and let u...

Re: Panzer Corps Excel Reference & National Unit Upgrade Charts - Rerun
Oops, the Soviet file is being problematic, I think as it is just over 1 MB even though total attachments can be up to 4 MB. I would PM it to you but I don't think attachments are allowed (at least I don't see how). However, If you PM me your email, then I can send it to you.

Re: Panzer Corps Excel Reference & National Unit Upgrade Charts - Rerun
I'll try, been a while since I uploaded anything. Probably have to use Zips since I'm pretty sure Excel files can't be loaded. Will at least save you from having to convert all the 4 image unit files to single images like I did. Allied Corps Availability.zip Italian Unit Availability.zip US Corps Av...

Re: IS-3
IS-3 is not available until April 1, 1945 and even then is not available for purchase by the player (unless you edit the equipment file). After a quick look, it appears about the only way you can have it on your side is if you play the Western Europe scenario as a single scenario using the units pro...

Re: For PC1 is there a way to make Unit visually stand out on map?
As Windows likes to control things these days, first you need to right click any of the HTM files in the 'UI' folder, then select 'Properties' at the bottom of the pop-up menu, then on the next screen where it says 'Opens with' near the top, hit the 'Change' button and select 'Notepad'. This will no...

Re: the minsk offensive
I'm guessing he means Minsk '44 as Borisov is a victory hex in the northeast corner and is not on the map in Minsk '41.
I would say retreat then go back is probably best. I'd look at youtube or the AAR section of this forum for better or more thorough guidance.

Re: Afrika Korps units.
Not that I'm aware of, however, if you look at the equipment file, any unit with a '1' in the 'Theatre' column is NOT available. There are only a few so it's easier to list what isn't available than what is: Kavallerie, all SE Infanteries, Panzer 38(t)A, Sdkfz 231 6Rad, Marder IIA, IID and IIIH, Ele...

Re: GC43 Oboyan and Oboyan D prestige rewards
The DV prestige is larger in Oboyan D than Oboyan while the MV/Loss rewards are smaller. Near as I can tell, the two scenarios are identical. I assume it's just an easier way to get different briefings, prestige allotments, and the chance to play the Kursk Armory scenario if you get DVs on both Yako...

Re: Deleting saved games.
Rubyjuno, thanks for the assist. In addition to what Rubyjuno said above, if the files you want to delete are all in order, you can simply left-click to either the right or left of the first file and hold the left button down and drag a box to the last file. Then right-click inside the box and selec...

Re: Deleting saved games.
Find where they are stored. It may depend on your installation, but mine are in the Documents folder of my root drive (c:) in the folder Documents/My Games/Panzer Corps/Save. Find them and you can delete all you want at once. Your saved Cores and replays are also in other folders there. While I have...

Re: Turn Count.
In addition, if the three extra turns aren't quite enough, you want to try different strategies, see how many more turns it may take to get a DV with the reduced troops you're using, how long to capture all hexes/destroy all units, or extend a scenario for whatever reason, you can do a save before t...

No, it only applies to the top 'Custom Difficulty' section of the page. Changes in the lower 'Advanced Options' section will be active whether you click the box or not.

Re: Turn Count.
In order to use custom difficulties, you need to be sure and click the small box labeled 'Custom Difficulty' just above the Player Experience slider on the Advanced options page. If you don't check the box, any changes you make, e.g., increased number of turns, won't take effect.

Re: Panzer Corps Excel Reference & National Unit Upgrade Charts - Rerun
As I can't get the image to upload like the others, for some reason, here is a link to a higher resolution version (hopefully) of the German Upgrade Chart. Again, it should also be in the stickies somewhere.

Re: Panzer Corps Excel Reference & National Unit Upgrade Charts - Rerun
Yes, and you can probably find it somewhere. I was going to load a higher resolution version that was clearer when enlarged and that's why I removed it from the post above. I was editing my post but, subsequently my internet connection went to crap ever since and I had trouble uploading it and haven...

Re: The difference?
For the vanilla campaign option of '39-'45 (Fall Weiss), you will play roughly 10-15 scenarios to finish the war, depending on your path/ability. If you play the grand campaign (German east), there are around 100 scenarios and you will play around 80, depending on the path you choose. Go to the Libr...

Re: Missing Rondorf after Smolensk
One correction, when you unload the V-2 it will be horizontal and then switch to vertical with the W-key and then be launchable. Just the opposite of what I mentioned above. Old age brain cramp.
