Re: To buy or not to buy a core

I always export my core.

That´s the thing for me and I wouldn´t enjoy it the other way around.

Game stalls an AI turn

First mission sunken lands

5 "turns" left and the game just stalls on AI (Lizard) turn. Happened once before on same map, but I could just pick a random unit - order it to move - and the game picked up. This time no luck.

Let´s agree to disagree :D

I do like the work you out into your sketch, I just hope there will be 2 different GC´s.

Re: OoB Western Allies GC sketch

I would sure hope they do 2 separate; one US and one UK, maybe with third country subdivision, and not one combined or one that splits up in two.

This would make for more content, diversity and core navy.

I´m also a fan of a longer Italian campaign, and off course more pacific content.

Re: 'Tanks, more tanks, Tovarish!' - Red Star Review and Discuss

I also use the KV-2 on the highest diff, but I´m also being careful not to suffer losses with it. I never attack with it, if the combat indicator is higher than 1, and rarely even then. What I found cost me most were my 3 upgraded T-34. They are harder to keep safe, as the Germans attack them more o...

Re: What if next dlc will be other trilogy...

Just to clarify, I mean a long/grand campaign that includes core naval warfare, not singular arms campaigns like Kriegsmarine or the suggested air campaign. IMO Kriegsmarine has been the only "bad" DLC to date. I´ve played it through once and never had the desire to play it again. It was too much of...

Re: What if next dlc will be other trilogy...

I´d like to see a grand campaign that could utilize the (core) Navy aspect of the game also, which I have missed alot. The navy would not have to be available for every mission, just once in a while. A grand Jap or American Pacific campaign would be awesome. The US could maybe crossover to Europe in...

Re: Crossing the Rubicon on "Unreliable"

I dont think the trait does anything to avoid some ppl buying the units they might want and find best and most powerful. [...] I also find the trait too severe and it makes me avoid the units altogether. Ermh..., these two lines sound contradictory. First you say the trait has no effect and then th...

Re: 'Tanks, more tanks, Tovarish!' - Red Star Review and Discuss

You know, I'm sad about Red Star and OOB in general for two reasons. One is, my lack of resources that began with Summa 40 caught up with me in Smolensk, so I resorted to cheating with #warbonds. That immediately took me out of the position of being able to honestly report my results here, so I hav...

Re guards, I still hope we get a little change on this spec which makes it slightly more "accessible".
I like the idea that only high exp units can attain this badge of honor, but don´t use it because the guards are weaker than marines.

Re: Crossing the Rubicon on "Unreliable"

Whoa, peace guys - you're both valued and respected members of this community. :) This Kondi's statement I don't want the OoB player to buy 6 Tigers, 4 Jagdpanther and 5 17cm K18 for easy win, I want OoB to be the most realistic simulator as possible is what I think, too, and imo Unreliable -trait ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

I really agree with prattaa that all gifted/captured/rewarded core units should have something special, like more xp than you could buy the unit with through specs or preferably being something you can´t buy (but still being a worthwhile type unit, so nothing that can´t compete with the buyable rost...

Re: Increase the pool of the specialisations available

As it is now, you basically always get all specs at some point in every campaign. It would be more fun IMO if there were a few more to pick from and you just couldn´t get them all in every campaign. Better for replayability for there to actually be a choice about what you want instead of just when ...

Re: ‘41-‘43 soviet dlc wishlist

I suppose that soviet partisan unit would be much more expected and used in the game Perhaps some form of workers' militia composed of Stalingrad's factories employees, but it doesn't seem necessary to me, they are enough as auxilliary (pre-deployed) units I think that it will also be possible to u...

Re: Increase the pool of the specialisations available

Yes, good suggestion, maybe except the random part, although that could be fun also if there was a good balance between the random ones and the chosen ones. It shouldn´t "ruin" a campaign that you got the wrong one. I posted about the lack of diversity and replayability regardings specs a long time ...

It´s an old discussion, but there should be room for the viewpoint that it doesn´t matter hos much more you produce when you loose all the battles.

Re: Erik's campaigns

US Corps 43-44 Started from the beginning after your last update. I´m at mission 6 (Messina) after again taking the southern path in mission 5 (as this gives a massive RP boost and you get nothing from the northern path). Mission 6 has way to many air CP now (32!). No more than 23 should be allowed...
