But the same goes for non-flame tanks.

Re: Ardennes 1944 AKA Battle of the Bulge
There have been some helpful hints already, but to reiterate, you have way to much infantry. I haven't played the map yet, but you normally don't even need 4, depending on the level. During my playthroughs so far I found that during the later years I would probably be able to go without any Infantry...

Re: QUESTIONS: Rapid Fire Q&A
1.) What I usually do is supressing the anti-air with artillery and then use strat and tac bombers to soften it up before going in for the attack. You could also use a hero that does not trigger support. 2.) No 3.) My rule of thumb is to not use it. I have tried it, but it does not seem worthwhile t...

Re: What do Panzer Corps veterans feel about PzC2?
We can always use the games excellent camouflage option as an aid to vehicle recognition. For example below I've given the tank a grey coat, the Marder a stripey one, the Wespe a spotty one, and the flamethrowing halftrack a whitish one. Yes, the camo is a good workaround, but it still is a workaro...

Re: What do Panzer Corps veterans feel about PzC2?
I would like the option to revert to a default angle. Maybe also so that it definitely shows in which mode a unit is (eg. 88 aa or at mode) PoorOldSpikes Suggestion is excellent. @George_Parr: I sure can figure out which unit is which, and I am very sure that the more I play, the easier I will be ab...

Re: What do Panzer Corps veterans feel about PzC2?
boredatworks screenshots show exactly what my problem is. I know, I have played PC1 much more than PC2, but in the PC1 screenshot I can immediately tell what every unit is. In the PC2 screenshot: - the german and russian infantry could be everything. I have no clue if they are paras, engineers or we...

Re: This is a Step DOWN from Panzer Corps 1
It is really hard to follow your post without quotations and what not. I can and will not answer to everything, but just a few points. 1.) If you want the game to depict history, then in later battles 1943 onwards, you should only be able to field a few elite divisions with mostly green troops and a...

Re: What do Panzer Corps veterans feel about PzC2?
Hm, that is interesting, I thought units were much more discernible in PC1 than in PC2. I sometimes struggle to differentiate strat bombers and tac bombers They aren't, I checked. Aircraft in PzC were just as bad if not worse to visually identify in PzC than Pzc2. https://i.imgur.com/Xqs8xW5.jpg Th...

Re: What do Panzer Corps veterans feel about PzC2?
I'm old and have a bit of trouble with the angled 3D view. I know lots of people like it. It's just that a top down 2D view is much easier for me. I have thought of a compromise -- in the PzC2 2D view use NATO icons. It would be easier for me to deal with and I would hope not be objectionable to pl...

Although I think I am wasting my time here, I want to answer some of your arguments, since I think you are trying to spread some (at best) half-truths here. Even though this game looks better, the graphics, movement, water, weather.....and even though this game performs better: the combat, the effec...

Re: Kursk Deadly Grasped
: If you develop new game mechanics, you always have to develop a new ai, that can use it. : THIS! One of the worst examples was Civ 6 where new mechanics were just for human players, while AI was not using half of it. It felt like playing Sim City. The civ series was my favorite game franchise. I ...

Re: Ideas for Panzer Corps 2
This also bugged me in PC1: You should be able to tell your units how they move. You can just set the end point and the unit will move there, but you have no influence how they get there. If you played advance wars on gameboy, you might know how they did it, you can specify how your units move. This...

Re: Kursk Deadly Grasped
I have played the first two missions of barbarossa center yesterday in my second playthrough and the encirclements you can do there are really cool, especially kiev. I hope we see more of those missions in later dlcs, because building encirclements is really fun. Although it would be better if the a...

Re: How does the Overrun Hero actually work?
I cannot seem to understand how the Overrun Hero works. Unless I am missing something, he is supposed to re-set move and attack points after a clean kill. I tested him on a tank, but the move points are not re-set. Overrun was functioning same as usual (as if the hero was not there). I tested him o...
