NOT HAPPY! Steam selling BASPM < $20 1 DAY after release!
Hi Guys, Feeling a bit stiffed right now after paying $100 for Apollo tier BASPM and then finding out that Steam are not only selling the game that I worked hard to get right for release for less than 1/3 of what I paid for it, but they are also selling it at less than $20 on special ONE DAY after r...

Bug - Game Ends on Lunar Landing!
Hi Guys, Just managed a Manned Lunar Landing in Q3 1969 (OK it was a test play through with save games but still an achievement). The Game just ended after the nice graphic of Buzz! Why did I bother to Research the Lunar Rover for the next manned mission? What about sending out the interplanetary pr...

Bug - v1.00 Apollo DIV + EVA - EVA Fail ALL crew die?
Hi Guys, Apollo Orbital Duration IV with EVA had a failure on the DII that was catastrophic and ALL the crew died. While the code probably did what it was supposed to do what actually happened is very unlikely. The failure was on the EVA portion of the mission and so logically it was a suit failure ...

Bug - v1.00 Text not readable easily III
Hi Guys,
Explorer I Mission Configuration Screen
"Extra Boost provided by Payloads (per Launch)" text is squashed and hard to read. Almost overwrites
other text.

Cheers!

Bug - v1.00 Text not readable easily II
Hi Guys, Just had a successful X-15 Mission (Yay!). In the after mission debrief the text and the icons are the same colour and the text is unreadable (depending on the icon). Can we change the text colour to something else? (Yellow or Blue might work, or Red or Black - just something contrasting to...

Bug - v1.00 Text not readable easily
Hi Guys, Great job on 1.00. Looks pretty flash so far. First bug I have found is a simple text unreadable bug. On the news screen when my controllers graduated from continuous training the "(Continuous)" part of the text had overflowed below the blue status bar onto the message text area. ...

Re: Some Suggestions for better game
Hi, Some great ideas in my book. I have been talking to Ignaccio about some of this stuff and I am currently putting together a "wish list" for BASPM 2. I think that in BASPM 2 we need to take into account such things as the X Programs that ran parallel to the Space program but added a lot...

Re: Soviets need to be better balanced?
Hi, I wouldn't force things, eg making Mercury a prerequisite for Gemini. It's not that it was physically impossible to make a 2-man capsule before a 1-man one had flown, it's just that it was a lot easier. Historically the Russians tried to skip steps, eg in developing the N-1 before having really ...

Re: Soviets need to be better balanced?
Hi, I've played the version 0.8.5 game as Soviets 6 times now, 3 on Normal where I won all 3 times and the US was nowhere near landing on the Moon (I keep doing landings for another 2 years waiting and they never manage more than a lunar flyby) and 3 on Hard where I won twice, once by at least 2 yea...

Re: Soviets need to be better balanced?
Hi, Wait until you play the Soviets and the USA successfully launches a Manned Apollo Sub-orbital in 1961! This part of the game is definitely unbalanced at this time and NEEDS work. While I am comfortable with the other player taking an historical track to make the game fair, I would prefer a more ...

Re: Space Shuttle
Hi Guys, The Space Shuttle was a step in the right direction that was mutilated by the USAF and slammed by Congress budget cuts. The USAF were originally promised their own Military Shuttles for those Secret Squirrel missions they like so much and then were told they wouldn't get any. This is part o...

Bug - No launches this Season
Hi Guys, We seem to have *almost* got the No Launches this Season bug fixed. Got a Fire in the VAB Event and so No Launches this Season and costs me money (Bummer!) So why can't I launch an X-15 Mission? I only need a Crane and a Runway for that. I know it is about the only time in the game this wil...

Re: Feature/wishlist - Mission Control Data
Hi, What I am suggesting would need to be real time over the sequence it affected. As you say you cannot Abort during re-entry - sorry you would be toast. You can however Abort during launch at almost any time, but obviously some times are more dangerous than others. It is time critical but you can ...

Re: Bug - Pioneer 4 Placeholder string in message box
Hi, No the String error comes when you tell the mission to go ahead and it flags that the Probe is less than 80% reliable do I want to go ahead anyway. It looks like a variable with underscores in it, so presumably it is for the Multi-language variants and you have left out a quote in the code or so...

Feature/wishlist - Mission Control Data
Hi Guys, Ignacio has told me that some people do not like the data box in the Mission Control window when there is a problem but I quite like the idea of it. I have been thinking and I think I may have a solution. On the Mission Control screen there are 4 panels on either side of the Graphics window...

Bug - Pioneer 4 Placeholder string in message box
Hi Guys,
Playing 0.8.4 and went to schedule a Pioneer 4 Flyby. My Pioneer is at about 75% and so I got a
Mission Component below 80% message, as expected, but there was a variable/placeholder string
within the message.
Save file attached
Cheers!

Re: Bug - USA Campaign - new program slow
Hi Ignacio,
Can't seem to replicate it, so I will put it down to the software loading resources in the background
that just slowed it down. I was a bit quick on a reload on that particular one.
Cheers!
