Re: Samurai I'm kinda bumbed how samurai are depicted in this book. Moving large blocks of indescriminate troops around the table does not seem like it would be much fun or lend itself to too many varied tactics. I would have preferred different weapon types (retainers w/ bow, retainers w/ naginata,...

While there is no Huaxtec list, the Aztec list does allow for Central American allies, which could I suppose involve the Huaxtecs in the late 15th century (I'd have to check my sources to see if the Huaxtecs were used in this role, I'd imagine in the wars against Tlaxcalla and friends. After 50 yea...

Rampant speculation aside (which I enjoy!), can anyone shed any light on what armies made the cut? I know its only 2.5 months away but I would like to start shopping for and painting minis as I have no Central Americans painted at the moment. I really would hate to buy 400-500 Huaxtecs ahead of time...

They will be rather nice. I actually have the ikko-ikki myself. If won't stop me trying them out for fun though - there just won't be an official list in time period I suspect. Cheers Si Any further word on these? Will they be included in the upcoming Asian book since they originated in the 1490's?...

Rather than ambush markers I would have a table to roll on at the start of each Roman turn. The result of the dieroll decides how many new German units enter the table each turn. The Romans job is to survive and exit units off the far edge of the table.

I would think that would made into a supplement? Covering the 1700's and such.. I would guess it would take elements from the FOGN aspects and FOGR.. The seven years war is a bit different to Nappy's or Renaince. Good point. And brings another question to mind...how late will the Napoleonic Wars su...

What are the overall dimensions of the map? 6' x 4' or some other size? Thanks. Chris Good question Chris. I half left that out on purpose so people wouldnt feel they had to play on a specific size table. I intend to play it on an 8x4 table though I should think 6x4 would work fine for 15mm figures...
