Re: How to delete fake MP games abandoned without being play

My take on this from the first week (as I have had people pick up chalanges but not return a move for several hours) is they will make their moves, but do not immediatly because 1) Winning is important to them, so maybe they are experimenting against AI with army first 2) They are greedy, so grab an...

You could make the basic scenario as described (call it the balanced one) and then copy the files and make 2 or 3 variants exploring the possibilities (noting which side should be played by the "best player".) I did this when I made Medway - I spent alot of time editing unit names etc and it seemed ...

I feel the same as 76 mm - I am fed up of posting an open challenge (I always state MY army)and 75% of the time its snapped up by a Swiss, Late Roman or Spartan elite army. When I accept a challenge I always try and pick an army that provides an interesting game. I am also finding that accepting cha...

Possible Challange Error

Today as there was a lack of opponents I have issued about 6 challenges, 4 accepted, 2 outstanding. In addition I have one game outstanding from before today and have accepted ONE challenge today. Now I try and accept (my second of the day) a challenge and am told I cant accept anymore challenges to...

It's alright though; this game looks like it's going to be the third Swiss defeat,. Picture, if you will, thousands of swiss pole-dancers doing their best to flee, but falling over one another because my army has a vice-like encirclement of their position. Also, imagine one swiss crossbowman trying...

How will we deal with these excomunicate Swiss?. I have pawned all the relics, sold off my wives and given absolution to a band of cut throats and murderers who as we speak march to do gods will.

The Pope (the true one, not the Angavin Blather one) has now purchased the services of a German force to bring the excomunicate Swiss back to heal. He has sent them a bone from Christ himself and a fragment of the true cross to ensure victory.

Swiss sent to Hell by the Popes Danish Allies

Rumours circulate that the "Invincible Swiss" Were left dying on the field today, as the instruments of God, the Danes, taught them what push of pike was all about. After several hours struggle the Danes deemed they had done enough and moved to the nearby town to celebrate, very kindly leaving the S...

Please can someone check that Medway scenario has been fix

If one of you Beta's could just make sure that the Medway scenario (broken in last patch) has been fixed I would appreciate it.

Thanks

In the unlikely event you don't get to six I'll make up the numbers! But I am sure there are 3 more Romans waiting to be slaughtered out there!

I volunteer to be the opposition if ever you need help (either permanently or just if you get overloaded), just pm me if ever you need someone to wipe out the Romans.... (I say this cos I can never be bothered with all the role play side of things, just like fighting battles!) Cheers and good luck N...

Exactly, the flanking maneuvers should be MUCH harder than they are now - I totally agree common FOG tactics don't reflect the average ancient flanking move. But somehow we need the rules to punish not protecting your flanks. The only way I can think of is making more use of commanders range to infl...

While I agree of most things said here I dont believe small maps is the solution, I really dislike maps where you can anchor your flank on a map edge. Better to try to sort out the way skirmishers are defined than have smaller maps. Even in beta it was complained about skirmishers running around too...

Sorry you have problems - I honestly dont dont know what they did to it - they have changed something after I have sent it to them. But if you download it from Matrix you should not put it with the std scenarios, as it may cause problems with official release etc. Please put it in the custom games f...

Editor and Expansions

As more and more expansions come out I think it may become problematic ensuring what your scenario is compatible with. Maybe it would be an idea that you should add "on/off" buttons in the editor to allow/disallow units, terrain etc that are expansion specific. Then when a scenario is created you co...

Thanks for the kind words! It makes me think about a new project!!!! Seriously though I would be interested in how you get on in Medway if you have some spare time, that was the one I put all the work into, this was just a spinoff. And I believe Medway will catch anyone out who doesnt think about wh...
